This template contains the necessary meta-data to allow users who are using accelerated editing to create any grammatical forms semi-automatically. This template is used to display the headword-line of Shona nouns.
The template adds the entry to Category:Shona nouns. As with other Wiktionary part of speech templates, please do not use subst:.
Parameters
[edit]The following parameters are available:
| Parameter | Function |

| 1 | The headword, which should have acute accents on syllables with underlying tone in Standard Shona. |
| 2 | The class. Give the class of the singular unless the noun is only plural (like mafuta). For nouns in classes 1a, 9, or 11 that take a plural in class 6, give the class as 1a/6, 9/6, or 11/6 respectively. |
| 3 | Plural form override if the plural cannot be generated automatically. Use - if there is no plural form.
