Frederic Bastiat Institute, is an Economics Research Think Tank and Investment Banking Training Institute, with heterogeneous research approach, in contributing to knowledge and it application, for the empowerment and development of the continent of Africa, economically. The distinguish scholars of the Institute based in Africa claim to be  proud fellows in the Traditions of Austrian School of Economics and an active members of International Federation of Technical Analysts with headquarters based in Maryland, USA.  They argue that private sector growth is the Engine of every sustainable economic system and such require quality capital resourcing in both endogenous and exogenous mechanism. The Institute advocate in the intellectual spirit and the principle of market liberalism, and believe in the dignity of labour, whether with head or hand, that the world owes no man a living but that it owes every man an opportunity to make a living and such lies on quality central government regulations and credible policy guidance. The leader of the Institute in a person of Dr. Emmmanuel Tweneboah Senzu did submit in a press conference on the 3rd March, 2017 that, the lifelong commitments to knowledge as a research institute, is to help preserve the traditions of Entrepreneurship spirit in Africa, defend and advocates for private sector growth in investments, management and the capacity to solve problems of society, which will advance the civilization of humankind on the continent. The Institute core function is in Economics and Investment Banking research but specialized in the following service-projects as in Technical Analytics of the Stocks, commodities, bonds and the forex trading market. As well as theoreticians in the area of Growth Economics, Investment Attraction, Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Institutional Economics and Policy Analytics. The Technical team of the Institute posit that, the greatest priority and efforts, is to prove the theory of F. A. Hayek in the material world, which state, the curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men, how little they really know about what they imagine, they can design. And conclude that, they welcome any funding partners or a deep thinkers with advanced intellectual skills to contribute towards the mission as a proud citizen of Africa or an African developmental activists, who believes, Africa has what it takes to compete in the global arena.  


History

The name Claude-Frédéric Bastiat is the flag of the Institute in recognition of his great contribution to liberal economics as a French Economist with Institute believing in his school of taught and ideologies in line with the liberal economics school. The Institute was Established in 2013, initially as an affiliate of Bastiat Society USA, And Incorporated under the Companies Acts, 1963 (act 179) as a Non-governmental research Institution of Economics, Market liberalism advocates and Investment Banking Institute under the Laws of the Republic of Ghana. Issued a certificate number CG119062014 on the 24th September, 2014 (RGD, 2014). With the first leader of the Institute, is Emmanuel Tweneboah Senzu, a professor of Economics and Investment Banking, served as faculty member of Cape Coast Technical University Ghana, University College of Management Studies and a research fellow to African School of Economics, Republic of Benin, and later in consensus with the Institute research team, appointed his formal research supervisor to be the Chairman of the Institute in Global Economics research and Investment banking in the person of Emeritus (Prof) Badar Alam Iqbal, an indian Fulbright scholar. And formal Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University. India.


The Vision

The Center aspired focus, has been to contribute to knowledge and skills that enhance, the industrial growth of Africa as well as a structurally designed investment system that promote the industries as a complement to political management of developing and underdeveloped economy. Despite Ghana being the domicile country of the Institute residence, most of it studies and research projects, covers the continent of Africa as a precise focus. The effort of the Center is geared towards the fact that, it sees tomorrow Africa as a vibrant political economy than a fragile economy of today, therefore strive selflessly with hope and faith in tomorrow destiny of Africa, with an active private sector, morally complimenting a responsible government efforts in solving challenges of it market. An Africa, devoid of politicians who enviously seek to undermine the efforts of private support and sees it as an enemy to economic progress and with propaganda machinery, destroy the hands of private Investment in it significant contribution to the continent.


Programmes

The Institute currently run two major programmes of professional Investment banking, which is CFTA (Certificate of Foundational Technical Analysts) which takes (12)months of course study and CTA (Chartered Technical Analysts), which takes (24)months of Course study in Technical Analysis in the Investment Banking services as a professional industrial practitioner. The content is narrowed to the understanding of the global trading dynamics of forex, commodity, stocks and bond market, with the advance skills in it trading analytics. With the Aspiration to create a vibrant labour force that will significantly contribute in building a strong Investment economy for Africa.
