Amauropelta is a genus of ferns in the family Thelypteridaceae, subfamily Thelypteridoideae, in the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group classification of 2016 (PPG I).[2] Other sources sink the genus into a very broadly defined genus Thelypteris.[3]
