Asman is a 100% subsidiary airline of Manas International Airport.[2] In Kyrgyz language, "Asman" means "sky."[3] A falcon was chosen as the company's logo.[4]

The airline accepted its first Q400 aircraft on 5 September 2024 and has order for three more aircraft of same type. On October 29, the second Q400 aircraft arrived in Kyrgyzstan.[6] The third will arrive in January 2025, and the fourth in May 2025.[7]

Starting from May 2025, all four aircraft Q400 will begin flights to all regions of Kyrgyzstan. The airports in Talas, Naryn, Karakol, Kazarman, and Kerben, which have been non-operational for the past 30 years, will resume service.
