English: St Mary's church - monument to Sir w:Edward Coke (1552-1634), barrister, judge, and politician who is considered to be the greatest jurist of the Elizabethan and Jacobean eras. Arms:

    • 1: Coke: Per pale gules and azure, three eagles displayed argent
    • 2: Crispin: Argent, a chevron azure between three chaplets gules (not listed in Burke, 1884)
    • 3: Folchard / Folkard: Sable, a chevron between three covered cups or (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.364, "Folchard", but stating "two covered cups")
    • 4: Sparham: Azure, a cross or (not listed in Burke, 1884)
