Cranbrook railway station is a railway station under construction to serve the new town of Cranbrook[1] near Exeter in Devon. The station is located on the West of England Main Line between Whimple and Pinhoe stations. Originally expected to open in 2013[1], the station was worked into timetables in 2014, with an additional two minutes scheduled for trains passing the station.[2] However, work on the detailed design of the station only began in summer 2014, and construction started in the autumn. The station is due to open in 2015.[3][4]

The station will have a platform for 3-car trains and a car park with 150 spaces.[5] The station and its services will be operated by South West Trains.

Services

The weekday service will be at least one train per hour or every 2 hours to Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo via Yeovil Junction.
