Need Help in WP:PBUH

Hi bro,

I need your help removing terrorism section from WP:PBUH.

I removed it citing reason why it should be removed but CambridgeBayWeather put it back in.

If you can please go to that page and remove that section by reverting the change done by CambridgeBayWeather.

It will establish a consensus that more than one person think that it should be removed.

I also tried to talk it out with CambridgeBayWeather on his talk page and you can see my post there as well.

Hi Sajjad. Hope you are doing well. First off, Bobrayner is right that this practice is canvassing and secondly I am not sure which article you are talking about. If you and some use disagree about something, then you should see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. This page will give you a step by step guide on how you can resolve the issue. If you have already tried talking with the user and you are not able to come to a solution, you can try getting a Third Opinion. Now, I did not know that Ugly Betty was cancelled, I thought they ended it with those two together. But come to think of it, it did end quite abruptly. There are two ways. One is that you can do all the stuff manually, that's quite difficult. The other is that you turn on Wikipedia:Twinkle in your account and nominate it from there. Go to the Twinkle page and you will see instructions for turning it on in your account. Using Twinkle, you can perform a lot of things easily on Wikipedia. I'm glad I was able to help you. As for the article, I cannot be very sure about. History is not really my area of interest and to tell you the truth, I am not very good at it either. If you believe that the article should be deleted, then go ahead and nominate it. it mentions a small stuff like volunteer troops sent to Israel (this is beside the point of discussion, but that war is something not to be proud of, as Pakistan and Israel were created very much in similar fashion: !) both had a hard time to decide if they wanted joint state or become a separate nation 2) for people who shared similar religious custom; 2) secular country; 3) orthodox of both countries were ardently against creation of the state but then once it is made come and have a huge impact on how the politics are run 4) highlighting that small role increases people disliking people who are Pakistani but more importantly it further creates hatred amongsts Pakistanis. (lol, i myself have not had a good day with them today). If you want to create one, why not just have a detailed military page?? Fails to include terrorism, Taliban, Osama bin Laden (as painful as these issues might be to Pakitanis, I think people would be more warm and open once they see more transparency amongst Pakistanis).

Grammar wise there are times where it says an independent nation ... and then sovereign. I mean that is just pointless, unless the population does not feel emancipated (either through culture, religion, or foreign nosiness but all of it has to be brief and credible.) oh in the intro, perhaps you can elegantly help many people's misconception of how Pakistan was split from India rather it was that in around 1940 the talks of unity of Muslims and Hindus by the Muslim League, Congress, and Ghandi were going no where so they thought was best that they both did become a separate nation. Briefly mention how Ghandi went on strike for Pakistan when the Congress decided not to give Pakistan half of the treasury as it was promised. IF there is good source it was partially due to british divide and conquer ... incorporate that. It would be great to have the national anthem that can be played also, any sort of name should be pronounced in a clear way as you would in Urdu. Like Pakistan is pronounced PAW-KISS-TAWN (and that is the only way it should be pronounced ... not "Pe-kiss-tan" no matter how bad the English had butchered it. But There are three or four pronunciations of Pakistan and then the format should only follow what Wiki requires for the English world, and that means western English because majority westerners will come on wikipedia to read bout Pakistan than Pakistanis. All of this would make the article quite neutral and help people relate to Pakistan, understand it's struggles with respect to it's own people and the world; and hopefully this can also help Pakistanis understand how the world views them and the things they can do (and are doing) to increase tolerance and for people to say hey they are not so different than us at all, or different than what our countries were doing at one point (and some won't ... but that's expected).

As for today, I did purposely put on the tags (some of them were mistakenly added though, and some I think I chose the wrong one ... I thought of doing ti sectionally but then that would be huge one, not to mention there is discrepancy on the infobox that needs to be addressed but I get accused of being "Indian" ... Copyright checks when performing AfC reviews

Hello Muhammad Ali Khalid. This message is part of a mass mailing to people who appear active in reviewing articles for creation submissions. First of all, thank you for taking part in this important work! I'm sorry this message is a form letter – it really was the only way I could think of to covey the issue economically. Of course, this also means that I have not looked to see whether the matter is applicable to you in particular.

The issue is in rather large numbers of copyright violations ("copyvios") making their way through AfC reviews without being detected (even when easy to check, and even when hallmarks of copyvios in the text that should have invited a check, were glaring). A second issue is the correct method of dealing with them when discovered.

If you don't do so already, I'd like to ask for your to help with this problem by taking on the practice of performing a copyvio check as the first step in any AfC review. The most basic method is to simply copy a unique but small portion of text from the draft body and run it through a search engine in quotation marks. Trying this from two different paragraphs is recommended. (If you have any question about whether the text was copied from the draft, rather than the other way around (a "backwards copyvio"), the Wayback Machine is very useful for sussing that out.)

If you do find a copyright violation, please do not decline the draft on that basis. Copyright violations need to be dealt with immediately as they may harm those whose content is being used and expose Wikipedia to potential legal liability. If the draft is substantially a copyvio, and there's no non-infringing version to revert to, please mark the page for speedy deletion right away using {{db-g12|url=URL of source}}. If there is an assertion of permission, please replace the draft article's content with {{subst:copyvio|url=URL of source}}.

Some of the more obvious indicia of a copyvio are use of the first person ("we/our/us..."), phrases like "this site", or apparent artifacts of content written for somewhere else ("top", "go to top", "next page", "click here", use of smartquotes, etc.); inappropriate tone of voice, such as an overly informal tone or a very slanted marketing voice with weasel words; including intellectual property symbols (™,®); and blocks of text being added all at once in a finished form with no misspellings or other errors.

I am requesting unblocking of my account. The unblock guide says that one should first understand the reason why one has been blocked. However, I am just told that I have done paid editing and that my account has been blocked. I don't understand this reason. Someone sent an email in OTRS and my account was blocked. Anybody can send any email. I understand that there are privacy concerns, but I should be allowed to view that email and present my side of the case. This email could be 2 years old when I did paid editing first and was blocked for that. Secondly, User:Gujjar Daw, whose account was closed as being my sock puppet has nothing to do with me. This guy was trying to create the page, Sher Medaan Da, which he had been trying to created since 12 April. And this page is related to User:Vamsiraj who already has several sock puppets. Muhammad Ali is the most common name in the Muslim world and this happens to be just another person who works in the same city as I am in. He is a web developer, whereas I was only a writer. I am writing to you because you blocked me about two years ago for paid editing. At that time, I did do paid editing and I was blocked for two weeks. Anyway, recently I was blocked because someone sent an email in the OTRS. I haven't seen the email. I tried the UTRS but I got an unrelated response, which I have discussed below. Anyway since I cannot respond to the email from UTRS and since the evidence is private, can you please review it. I have not been given any chance of explaining the email.
