Other use
[edit]Let's face it folks, we all first learned about Putty as a childhood toy! Putty has other uses than construction. This should be included in the article. 20:05, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Putty- traditional builders material. Lack of citation is irrelevent. I don't think putty was ever a childrens toy (unless in the states something with similar-ish properties was sold as such)- other than in the sense that a bottle of whiskey in the cupboard has a fascination for small child who has never been allowed to taste the stuff! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.144.86.0 (talk) 14:48, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
Suggest merge January 2021
[edit]Plumber's putty is very short, has no references or context and could usefully be merged with this article for now, until someone develops a long enough section worthy of spinning out again. --Wtshymanski (talk) 20:21, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
