User:Canaen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greetings. I am Canaen, and I give what I can to this Wikipedia. When I'm online, I tend to watch my Watchlist like a Hawk. I write and edit fairly often here, but I don't like listing things that I've created or made significant contributions to. Right now, I'm mostly working on things related to the Scottish Wikipedians' notice board, and WikiProject Scotland.

I'm a Celt

[edit]

I come from Gaelic Frasers of Scotland, Scots-Irish, Irish, Swiss-Germans, Prussians, and various other Europeans. The words of Lynx, with an add by me:

"Just because Racist Amerikka says I look like y'all cracker asses,
Doesn't make me one of you.
So don't you EVER call me Anglo,
Or try to put me in your box.
Cuz I'm not.
And i'm not havin' it.
I'm a Celt.
I'm a Gael.
And I'm proud of that.

Contacting Me

[edit]

Leaving a message on my talk page will usually grab my attention, but if you wish to send me a private message, or don't like the talk page, or whatever, feel free to email me. I'd prefer you to use my talk page if it's at all possible.

I'm Canaen while on Freenode (IRC); leave me a memo sometime.

Life and Times

[edit]

I just felt like having a section with this title.

WikiProjects

[edit]

As you can see, I'm a member of several WikiProjects. I do not pretend to be an active participant in all of them, and indeed am primarily active only in WikiProject Scotland. I am interested in the others as well, and strive to make valuable contributions to them when I have time.

Other Languages and Wikis

[edit]

I maintain user accounts on other Wikipedias as well, though they are much less active. They are as follows:

Scots: Canaen French: Canaen German: Canaen Scottish Gaelic: Canaen
Meta-Wiki: Canen Wikibooks: Canaen Wikisource: Canaen Wikiversity: Canaen
Enciclopedia Libre: Canaen Wikinfo: Canaen WikiVeg: Canaen
