Dharmam Engey

[edit]

Belatedly I realize it might have been a good idea to ask why you dePRODded the article - I apologise for not doing so. The reason I didn't was that I have seen so many articles dePRODded by editors who don't have sources and just don't want the article, however uncited it may be, to be deleted. It seemed to me that my BEFORE was exhaustive, but I am always learning exciting new ways to find things and would love to see what you found (and any tricks you used to find it, if you're willing to share!). Hello, sorry, I'm the one who should apologise. I didn't mention any reason and forgot to fill in the reason on the TP. I just thought the deletion was not uncontroversial and basically that the film, mentioned in various encyclopaedias and having one solid source cited, should be either kept or, at least, redirected. But for 1970s Tamil films, sources online are sometimes hard to locate, if they exist. Thank you. Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 16:46, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No need to apologise at all, and thank you for answering! I agree that redirection would be preferable to simple deletion, so I'll add that in the AfD for the closer to consider. With luck someone else will be able to pull a source out of the depths of the internet (or newspaper archives). StartGrammarTime (talk) 17:07, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
