Thank you, Gog! And thank you also to @Gerda below. I'll look over the blurb ahead of the August date. —Ganesha811 (talk) 12:14, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations to FA and appearance to come! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:36, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pictured on the Main page: Brian's Mozart family grand tour, my story today, and Mozart related to all three items of music on my talk: our 2023 concert, an opera in a theatre where a Mozart premiere took place, and those remembered, Martti Wallén, a bass, and Liana Isakadze, a violinist from Georgia, (whose article would be better with more details about her music-making). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:17, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My story today is - because of the anniversary of the premiere OTD in 1782 - about Die Entführung aus dem Serail, opera by Mozart, while yesterday's was - because of the TFA - about Les contes d'Hoffmann, opera by Offenbach, - so 3 times Mozart again if you click on "music" ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:55, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Today's story is about a photographer who took iconic pictures, especially View from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Manhattan, 9/11, yesterday's was a great mezzo, and on Thursday we watched a sublime ballerina. If that's not enough my talk offers the chamber music from two amazing concerts. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:10, 20 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Latenightcole1 (17:59, 24 July 2024)

[edit]

Can you guys help me make an article because the media companies are going to keep bullying me. I’ve done so much in my life. I do have a latte night show. --Latenightcole1 (talk) 17:59, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I can't help with creating an article about you - that would be strongly discouraged by Wiipedia's policies and guidelines (see WP:COI). —Ganesha811 (talk) 20:25, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Mohammed Shahidullah-Bin-Anwar (15:51, 31 July 2024)

[edit]

I am writing to seek your guidance regarding my article, "2024 July Massacare in Bangladesh". Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_July_Massacare_in_Bangladesh, Despite multiple edits and attempts to improve the article based on feedback, it continues to be flagged as an orphan article.

I would be grateful for your expertise in identifying potential linking opportunities or suggesting ways to integrate the article more effectively into the Wikipedia network.

Thank you for your time and assistance. --Mohammed Shahidullah-Bin-Anwar (talk) 15:51, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An "orphan" article is one that has no other articles linking in to it. If you want to de-orphan it, find other articles which are relevant and add links to that one! Then the tag can be removed. —Ganesha811 (talk) 15:53, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As you instructed, I have added the relevant links. Could you please take care of that? Mohammed Shahidullah-Bin-Anwar (talk) 18:37, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"Orphan" is about adding links to *other* pages which link to the page you're working on. It means that there aren't any other Wikipedia articles which link to it. —Ganesha811 (talk) 19:17, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sir, there are at least two articles in Wikipedia well connected to this ongoing event and as per your instruction, I added the links. You are kindly requested to give importance on it. Mohammed Shahidullah-Bin-Anwar (talk) 19:37, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! It appears that the subject you are writing about is already well-covered at 2024 Bangladesh quota reform movement. I suggest you transfer your energies to that article and work to improve it. In addition, the article title you created is unfortunately misspelled ("massacare" instead of "massacre"). If you don't mind, I'll fix the title and create a redirect to the 2024 Bangladesh quota reform movement article. —Ganesha811 (talk) 19:46, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It will be my pleasure if you kindly redirect it. Mohammed Shahidullah-Bin-Anwar (talk) 20:04, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please fix the title also. Mohammed Shahidullah-Bin-Anwar (talk) 20:20, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done! —Ganesha811 (talk) 21:31, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I see you've contributed a lot to Alux, would you be interested in a taskforce on oral tradition? Kowal2701 (talk) 14:22, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'll contribute if I can, but I won't have time to take part in anything organized. Thanks for asking, though! Seems like a cool project. —Ganesha811 (talk) 17:26, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Michael Varial (02:41, 17 August 2024)

[edit]

Hi Ganesha, I began an article a few months ago in a planned series about climate change adaptation practitioners. I can't find that draft, and was wondering if there is a way to retrieve it somehow? It looks like there is a time period after which drafts may be deleted? --Michael Varial (talk) 02:41, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
