I am trying to find out what the problem is. It's some problem with the template, not a mistake by you. See Template talk:User language subcategory#Help!. pfctdayelise 15:20, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You know, I tried to ask so many people, and no one even tried to help. :/ I'm glad you got it fixed! pfctdayelise 00:04, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Obliba okresu Pisek

[edit]

I deciced to create a minimal stub for every village in the Czech Republic - having semi-standard base helps in future maintenance. From time to time I pick an area and add villages from there.

I did some copyedit of Záhoří (Písek District). Pavel Vozenilek 17:31, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Its a good work but, hard work. If I´ll have time Ill help you. But you are right, its better to add all villages in the Czech Rep. than in US:)

Many familyies are looking for their relatives and now, they will be able to read something about their former villages.--Juan de Vojníkov 17:59, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are much welcomed. It is often better to answer on Talk page of the other person. Pavel Vozenilek 23:41, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikics template

[edit]

Hi Juan! I've just created a new template to indicate English Wikipedia user who also contribute to the Czech Wikipedia.

Template:User wikics

Feel free to add it to your userboxes if you like it. Happy Easter. Daniel Šebesta (talkcontribs) 22:59, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dík! A k čemu je to dobrý?--Juan de Vojníkov 16:42, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Je to trochu výraznější než mezijazykový odkazy vlevo (kde já třeba mám i odkazy na svoje stránky ve Wikipediích, do nichž příliš nepřispívám). Takovýhle šablony existujou například pro německou nebo francouzskou Wikipedii a řadu dalších, viz Wikipedia Foreign Language user pages. Toxascaris leonina

[edit]

By my measurement it is 70 by 80 micrometres. I also added a scale bar that measures 50 μm, if you are interested. The size of the scale bar can be changed, if you prefer. What FA are you using it in, something in cs wiki? --Joelmills (talk) 02:56, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Czech characters in svg

[edit]

Wikipedia is using a translator for svg, as some Browsers would require plug-ins to render svg. Consequently, whatever we do may or might not work. In your case, I would try using Unicode (XML entities like &0xABCD; ) in hope this translator at least will respect standard XML features. For the Fonts, the translator uses a limited set and if the one you define is not in this set, you’ll finish with something else. Practically speaking, it will require some testing to get the result you want, and this only in your Browser; other people might see it differently. Not an ideal situation for wikipedia encouraging the use of svg, unfortunately. Eurocommuter (talk) 22:33, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sam Richards (sociologist), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Libertarian and TED (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page you created was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. GSK 20:47, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Lemond (alcohol), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dmol (talk) 00:50, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Translating

[edit]

Hi. When translating from other language wikis, such as at Blue Bower, you must give attribution:

  • You must provide copyright attribution in the edit summary accompanying your translation by providing an interlanguage link to the source of your translation. A model attribution edit summary Content in this edit is translated from the existing Czech Wikipedia article at cs:Modré loubí; see its history for attribution.
  • You should also add the template {{Translated|cs|Modré loubí}} to the talk page.
  • For more guidance, see Wikipedia:Translation. --John B123 (talk) 17:21, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
And have you had a look into that guideline and into my edit summary before posting this? The clue is I have followed the guideline, so I don't know, what you are talking about. Juandev (talk) 18:35, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look at the second line You should also add the template {{Translated|cs|Modré loubí}} to the talk page. --John B123 (talk) 18:54, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, OK. I've got this "Where applicable, the template {{Translated page}} can also be added to the talk page to supplement copyright attribution." from Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia#Translating from other language Wikimedia projects where I got from template:Translated page, so I thought it's not obligatory. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kocourov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Olympia. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:01, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Becherovka indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
