Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Murtadha al-Qazwini, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arabian Gulf (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello Mr. Sourceofgrace there Are some missing branches and personalities you did not add if you could contact me on murtatha004@yahoo.com so I could explain to you the branches and personalities. 69.47.119.120 (talk) 16:22, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@69.47.119.120: Hi. You must provide reliable sources for your claims of these branches and personalities. The information you have provided in your edits is not found in any reliable source anywhere to do with the Al Faiz family. The link you have provided to your source is broken, and upon searching for the source, it seems like an WP:SPS which is not acceptable as a source. Also if you are contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, or friends, then you are triggering WP:COI, and that is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia too. Thanks. Sourceofgrace (talk) 20:53, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Sourceofgrace: I’m sorry that the link didn’t pass through but if you could contact me on the email I provided I could send you the book so there will be no further misconceptions. Thank you and hopefully you are having a wonderful day. 69.47.119.120 (talk) 00:20, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Baqir al-Qazwini moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Baqir al-Qazwini, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Information icon Hi Sourceofgrace! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Al Faiz family that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Information icon Hello, Sourceofgrace. I noticed that your recent edit to Hussein Ali Mahfoudh added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 22:35, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sumanuil. I have not used an external image, or one from my computer. I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion. The image is from Arabic Wikipedia. I have used images from Wikipedias in other languages for English articles before, and it has worked fine. I'm not sure what happened this time. Sourceofgrace (talk) 22:54, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's probably only on Arabic Wikipedia. Either that or you transliterated the file name, which would cause a problem. English Wikipedia can handle file names in Arabic without an issue, but it won't recognize one that's been translated or transliterated as the same file. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 23:52, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sumanuil. I copied the file name exactly as it was. Which is what I've done before and its worked fine. Sourceofgrace (talk) 00:22, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Which means it's not on English Wikipedia. You'll have to upload it to here or Commons, depending on copyright status. (Commons doesn't want non-free images, because not every country has a fair-use exemption.) - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 03:25, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sumanuil. Ah I see. Thanks for pointing this out. Sourceofgrace (talk) 11:12, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, in Kamal al-Haydari you put a link in the middle of the word "of", resulting in: "from the College o<nowiki/>http://alhaydari.com/ar/category/ebooks/quranic/<nowiki/>f Jurisprudence". It was a part of this edit. --134.191.197.174 (talk) 18:15, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
