This was such a gem to play as a fan of Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I was invested in the story and characters. The save room theme being created by Survival Spheres was such a great choice! Love love love! <3
When I run the game my character infinitely spins around in circles, like the game is detecting me holding down a movement button that I'm not. I do not have a controller plugged in but I have tried it with that and I do not have any controller software running in the background, I also tried restarting the game and my PC. Any ideas?
You've created a fantastic little experience here. And I am genuinely excited for the game to come out. I really enjoyed the pacing of this game. I think the only critique would be that there's a bit too much backtracking, maybe opening up some shortcuts down the line would be a good idea. The whole ending portion made me go silent, completely unexpected from my side.

This was a lot of fun! Great atmosphere and it nails the classic survival horror vibe. My only real complaint is the amount of backtracking. It would be nice if a few of the unlocked rooms reconnected back to other areas in unique ways, so you weren't always passing back through the living room area over and over. But, that's a minor complaint. Overall, a lot of fun and I can't wait to play the next part!
Genuinely wicked excited to see more of this, and it's properly enigmatic story. Managed to build tension in a short Time frame, and leaves you excitedly speculating. Loved the huge nods to classic horror games while still creating it's own identity. Rad stuff.
The game was a lot of fun and I look forward to your next projects :). I will say the PlayStation controls don't work to well on my ps5 controller. So I left the shooting to my controller and moving to my keyboard.
Absolutely brilliant. This looks like an old school survival horror and it feels like one too. It's got an intriguing story and after seeing the ending, I can't wait to continue in the next one.
I've been following your dev journey on YouTube, and it's great to see how well this has turned out - it's outstanding; it looks like old-school survival horror, but crucially it also feels like it.
The full game is absolutely going to be a day-one purchase for me 👍
Legitimately a gorgeous game to look at. It's pleasing in every way and provides a great soundscape to complete the puzzles. All the puzzles flow nicely into one another and I never really found myself too lost except that you can get the clock hands a little early and if you're like me, you'll overthink every possible solution.
This game is undeniably inspired by Silent Hill in plenty of ways. The Easter eggs really show just how much this developer loves that series and I thought the recreations of certain locations were seemingly SPOT-ON except for some obvious necessary changes to maintain the low-poly aesthetic.
If there are any changes I would make it would be to add some feedback to the dial on the Safe so that you know when the number has been inputted and to fix a certain corner on the 2nd floor of the barn that lets you go behind some hay and get stuck.
When I played this game I wasn't aware that it was a prologue, so I made many assumptions based off of the little info I was given. Without that context, the story in this game can seem like a very vague experience. It still very much is but now I understand that I'm missing many variables that could help me piece it together.
Utterly amazing looking game. Very true to the style of the time, I'm getting nostalgic looking at it. I really, REALLY hope there's tank controls in there, at least as an alternative control scheme. Us OG players get a braintingle whenever we get to tank control a dude through some horrors. If not, no biggie. It's a must buy for me. Wishlisted on Steam.
