Which Cyberpunk 2077 NPC would you want to be?

Which Cyberpunk 2077 NPC would you want to be?

... and why?

Not any of the main story NPC either. Only the NPC that you see a few times in the game.

I would accept Lizards and Chickens as well.

I would want to be
Misty Olszewski. She's not directly involved in the main story's high-stakes conflicts, which makes her relatively safe. Misty's role is interesting because she has a unique perspective on Night City, blending the mystical with the harsh realities of the cyberpunk world. She interacts with the protagonist, V, and other main characters. This connection to the game's events without being in direct danger makes her an intriguing choice. And she seems to be the best one in the game to emotionally handle loved ones deaths in a non destructive way.

Or

The Roach Coach vendor who serves the famous Night City burritos. These vendors are serving up massive, improbably stuffed burritos that V can buy to restore health. Imagine spending your days in a cyberpunk dystopia making burritos that somehow contain a full meal's worth of calories in a single bite. Plus, you'd get to interact with a wide range of characters, from corporate suits to street punks, all while maintaining a somewhat humorous detachment from the city's intense dramas.

It's a diifilcult question, because no matter which NPC you look at in the game, they all have to deal with shitty/harsh situations, backstories, pasts, events or lives (but I could be wrong^^).
But after taking a little time to think, despite that we don't know much about him, I would say Zen Master. He seem to be and live in peace and posseses some kind of mystical powers. So a "safer" (if not the safest) choice in my opinion.

No 100% suitable character is created in Night City for me, the game passed me by in that regard.

Hansen scores the most points, but he is almost never allowed to speak in the game, I don't fully feel him as a person, there are too many white spots in him.
Most of the others are psychos, hysterics, sociopaths, neurotics, suicidal, with deviant behavior and criminal tendencies. I don't see anyone I internally feel an identity with.

Interesting, what category would you put Misty in then?

But then that is real life as well. We just all do the best we can. I believe there are a few lucky Night City NPC that do the best they can and have a life they appreciate more or less as we in the RL do.

Thank you so much for asking me that question.
I would put Misty in the "must be burned at the stake first" category. (y)
This is a personal viewpoint, partially overlapping with that of the Spanish Inquisition.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An unsatisfied thirst for hidden revenge, plus lust for experimentation with demonic powers. Misty hadn't forgotten V had lost Jackie at the hotel. Her straight-up joy when V gets beaten up by punks in the street at the "Tower" ending, this all stems from the same source.

P.S. Misty is one of my personal enemies in the game, I play in alliance with Arasaka just to see her pissed off.

An Edgerunner, because I find it one of the least dishonest things to be in such an amoral society run by corpos who don't value human life.

Me?

Who would I like to be?

Me.

If I put it into the perspective of whose base I would like to inherit (like Agent Smith does) and do my own thing, let me see...

Computing still ...

This is hard. Eh...

Alt's living engram? Nah, I'd have to live with memories of sc** Johnny. Next. Adam? No, he's a slave. Wait, could he break free? Hmm... Moving on.

Ah.

Hands is like a rat who got lucky. Nopes.

This is hard, all chars suck. NC sucks. I will write back here if I come up with something.

Yeah, but for example, Misty lost her lover which is pretty tough... Something I really don't want to :(
Nibbles! I think our looks is equally beautiful.

You get to live in a loving home (at least in my game) and have a personal servant.
This is it folks.

This is the answer to this thread.
I totally have to agree, The Nibbles
Nibbles crossed my mind before posting, but...
Do I really want to be a cat, in Night City, in a megabuilding, "stuck" in a tiny apartment in which (in my game), I only see my beloved owner very rarely?
Nah, not really...
If I had to be an animal, I rather prefer to be the swallow. I might not have nine lives, but I'm free, free to leave Night City, even enjoy the parade :giggle:

You also only have a life expectancy of four years!

Nibbles gets at least twice that. Nibbles shall be free once more and he'll have years of exploration ahead of him! A potentially more present servant too.

(Cats have servants, not owners!)

In theory, life expectancy is around 8-10 years for a (barn) swallow, but because of their "lifestyle", they very rarely reach it. But at the end, it doesn't matter, I rather prefer have a shorter life, but flying and go wherever I want (the sky is not the limit^^).

Or ends like a pancake under car's wheels... It happens :D

Or you could end up smashing into a windows that's a little too clean!

Birds have no business in a city like NC!

Nibbles is the only one with hope for a good life. With servants!

Let's hope Nibbles will find a better "servant" than my V after leaving Night City, because my V generally visit the apartment 2 or 3 times during the whole game...
Not sure how Nibbles manage to survive that long :p

There is a theory that nibbles is a sprite and not a normal cat.

The idea of Nibbles being a sprite or a digital construct fits within the game's cybernetic theme.
Nibbles has an unusual appearance with glowing eyes, which could hint at something more than a regular cat. Additionally, its behavior and presence in various locations without a clear explanation can seem mysterious.

Some players interpret certain in-game dialogues and environmental storytelling elements as hints towards Nibbles being more than just a regular cat. These hints, although subtle, add to the speculation. I once saw Nibbles with two tails like the Asian cat spirit. It was him sitting near a puddle of water that reflect his tail but at first glance I was shocked until I realize it was just a reflection. but... Coincidence?

If this is true maybe the cat is the best choice.

Edit: Dogs are fed, petted, given a nice bed, and toys. The dog thinks, "This human must be a god!" But a cat thinks, "They feed me, give me toys, and a large house to sleep in... I must be a god!"
