Next game: Original gangs 2020 and exotic enemies!

+
Some things that disappointed me about Cyberpunk 2077 were the lack of bizarre gangs and the "Exotic" style present in Cyberpunk 2020.
The variety of enemies was also an aspect that disappointed me, most were repetitive humans.

I would like the CD team to bring more things from Cyberpunk 2020 in the next game.

Bizarre gangs like the Bozos, Willow Sisterhood, Jack the Rippers, Sacred Blades, Juilliard, Philharmonic Vampyres etc.. (Imagine being approached by clowns with bizarre implants in a dark alley or a Marilyn Monroe trying to kill you?)

More variety of enemies, exotic/bizarre enemies with different combat mechanics. (ex: flying enemies, enemies that use the environment as a weapon, climbing walls, emerge from the ground etc..)

They also NEED to bring the "Exotic" style and implants in the next game! Imagine if it was possible to customize your character to look like animals? that would be CRAZY!

Why not a gang that’s anti cyberware? Even Luddites?

And a furries/ anthropomorphic gang?

Furries in the game? No, thanks. People believing they are vampires wandering the dark alleys of Night City.
Yes, that would make sense because those types of people actually do exist, they suffer from a mental illness called
Renfield's syndrome, also called clinical vampirism
And maybe they would also be addicted to a sort of synthetic drug, that's dark red and the same consistency as blood.
They would break into labs that produce it to feed their addiction.

While I fully agree with not wanting furries in the next game, I have to say, if the threshold to meet for including them is "these people existing in real life" then furries could be considered since they do exist in real life.

With that said, as far as I know they were not a really serious/popular addition to the tabletop. In fact, J Gray, line manager for CP RED said they were there because it was fun to make a guy who hates them, draw them. In other words, I don't think Pondsmith/R Talsorian really want them in their world and since they have final word on the IP, I don't think they're even a consideration for the next game.

Frankly, I think there's a possibility to do exotics in a way that does not immediately come across as furries. I totally get the argument against it, and I totally agree that it would not read in the modern day anywhere close to how it read back in the 1980s and '90s.

But, I think that exotics could be a chance to create a very steep uncanny valley aspect to Cyberpunk if redesigned from the conceptual stage to appeal to a modern audience. Something along the lines of:

A great movie reference for human / animal hybrids would be The Island of Dr. Moreau.
See the newer one with Marlon Brando in it, good film.

After reading the thread, I've lost track of whether we're talking about: a “new Cyberpunk-like game” or a potentially modified CP2077.
Whatever.
Nothing against furries, but it all depends on the objectives the CD team sets for themselves. If the task is to create a fun horror-like RPG- shooter, vampire clowns jumping out of dark alleys won't make things worse. “More creatures, terrible and different” - will do goblins, and cyber-orcs, and mutants, and even zombies.
But if the task will be set, say, to strengthen the horror component , to scare the player and to thicken the game atmosphere to an impenetrable gloom, furries will clearly not be enough, I think.

Yeah, I could get behind something like those last two. Definitely feels like it could fit in the aesthetic of the next game. Though the last one does feel less "animalistic" and more "demonic" in my opinion but I can defintely get behind a cyber demon look.

That, I wouldn't be personally against but bunny ears, fur and tails? That I really have no interest in.

I agree
I thought of something similar to Tigris aesthetic. (Hunger Games)
High luxury, rich people modifying their bodies.
