Amazon today has a few all-time low prices on the 10th generation iPad and 6th generation iPad mini. Both of these discounts represent all-time low prices on each tablet, and prices start at $299.00 for the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad, down from $349.00.

For the 10th generation iPad, Amazon provides an estimated September 14 - 17 delivery estimate for most orders placed in the United States. Right now we're only tracking record low prices on the 64GB Wi-Fi model, but you can find a few solid second-best prices on the other configurations as well.

This iPad launched in October 2022 and was completely redesigned compared to the 9th generation model. It features a larger 10.9-inch display, USB-C port, A14 Bionic chip, 12-megapixel camera, Touch ID, and more.

iPad Mini

iPad mini 6 prices start at $379.99 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model, down from $499.00. Similar to the iPad, only the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad mini is seeing a match of its record low price, but you can still find a few second-best prices on other models.

Steep discounts on the iPad mini 6 have become more frequent recently as we're expecting a refresh of the tablet at some point soon, possibly during an event next month. The iPad mini is Apple's smallest tablet device and this model features a slim-bezeled design, the A15 Bionic chip, a USB-C port, and Apple Pencil 2 support.

I'm curious to see if they AirPod Pro us with the iPad Mini whenever it gets updated. Like new colors but everything else the same.

Pretty sure Target or someone else has had the iPad 10.9 64GB for $299 before, so doesn't seem that incredible.
I have seen lots of the "lowest prices ever" when it just matches the previous low. Earlier this year, iPad Minis were routinely on sale at the "lowest price" ever at $399, which matched the Black Friday 2023 price.

These things are so long in the tooth and underpowered that it's difficult to recommend, even at this price point.

The 10th gen is snappy and responsive. Paired with a great 3rd party keyboard folio, this thing is quite a nimble productivity device.

IMO, $299 for the 10th gen iPad is THE tech bargain currently available. I WAS holding on to my 9th gen like grim death, but the 10th gen on sale (many months ago) was too good to pass up. and I'm glad that I didn't.

I could easily afford a top shelf iPad Pro, but all of that horsepower is not utilized with the current iPad OS so it isn't wise for me to spend that much... which is why I CAN easily afford it (by choosing wisely). 😁

I would agree with your assessment except that the iPad mini, for $80 more has a newer chip. (15 vs 14 ). And for my use, it still uses the Apple Pencil 2.

Been holding out for. new iPad Mini seems like forever... Smaller than the iPad Pro I have and bigger than the iPhone I normally use for surfing & emails so my eyes and arms get a rest!

Hmmm. . . 25% off, 3 year old machine, $20 cheaper and 10 months older than it was on Black Friday 2023. I am tempted. But I didn't buy it last year. Does an additional $20 savings make it worth buying now? Not so sure.
Only the pink one is $299, if that helps you making your decision.

i feel like they are cannibalizing their own amazon tablet with this
You comment just reminded me that Amazon even sells their own tablets. I had not thought about those in years. I went over to the site to check them out. The comparable tablet to this sells for $179 ad supported. Amazon is not playing in the same field. They sell cheap ad supported tables to get people to buy stuff. It's a good system that works for them. In no way is having an iPad sale, hurting Amazon tablets longterm. That's a different customer strategy.

I love my iPad 10th gen with the surface-style magnetic kickstand. I’ve got a 2018 iPad Pro with a quickly dying battery, and my 10th gen feels just as smooth in use (and the battery life is great). Only thing I miss is Face ID but I can live with the Touch ID. Very nice to know I’m not out a large amount of money if it is broken (as compared to the cost of repairing an iPad Pro). No regrets with this device.
