I had some failures for the deployment and later realized I had selected a Management Group with no underlying subscriptions yet in the Subscription selection I was able to see and select my desired Subscription in another Management group. It may be best to see if there's a way to filter the Subscriptions selection to the management group previously selected to prevent deployment issues as it appears there are some roles assigned during the process. (Possibly API query?)
