Walrusso Project Submission for Bitrock Hackathon

Getting Started

To set up and run this Next.js application locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone this repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/AkritW/walrusso
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd nextjs-app
    
  3. Install the dependencies:

    pnpm install
    
  4. Start the development server:

    pnpm run dev
    

    This will start the Next.js development server and your application will be accessible at http://localhost:3000.

  5. Open your web browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to see the application in action.

The project structure of this Next.js application is as follows:

  |- README.md
  • pages/: This directory contains the pages of your application. Each file in this directory represents a route. For example, index.js corresponds to the root route.

  • public/: This directory is used to store static assets like images, fonts, etc. The favicon.ico file is a default favicon for your application.

  • styles/: This directory is used to store global stylesheets. The globals.css file contains global CSS styles that apply to the entire application.

  • .gitignore: This file specifies which files and directories should be ignored by Git version control.

  • next.config.js: This file allows you to customize the Next.js configuration for your application.

  • package.json: This file contains the project's dependencies and scripts.
