Fix initialization problems with the cisc0-core

- Turns out that casting to the super type of a given class can cause horrible
  problems later on. Instead, introduce a new registration mechanism to
  describe custom constructions if the default newFunction is used instead of a
  custom one. This will return the type of the wrapper itself.
