Hi,
I have an extremely strong laptop that runs any software easily. I use Maya and Zbrush and render regularly in Arnold. I have an i9 processor with 32gb RAM, 3060 graphics card etc.

When pixel composer is open, the laptop heats up extremely fast and for no apparent reason, even with an empty project.
It seems the preview window tries to render constantly, there is text in the right corner of the preview window saying "Active" and below it the frame rate, changing constantly. I haven't found a way for preventing the preview window from rendering.
It seems like an annoying performance issue that should be fixed.

That said, the software is incredible and I love it!
