Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No
Yes

  • VS Code Version: 1.19.1
  • OS Version: win 11

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. I just installed Vs code on my laptop and my screen gets a graphical glitch all on the screen and it makes coding a bit annoying tbh i willi share a attachment with this to look up to.

Thanks for creating this issue! It looks like you may be using an old version of VS Code, the latest stable release is 1.91.1. Please try upgrading to the latest version and checking whether this issue remains.

i am using latest version of vs code

Merging to #124226

Please disable hw acceleration in the application as workaround,

* Command Palette search for "Configure Runtime Arguments"
* Set disable-hardware-acceleration: true
* Restart
