CatAnalysis is a collection of R functions for analyzing data collected from CatScan. CatScan is software designed to run grouping / category construction tasks. Detailed information about CatScan and CatAnalysis can be found here ##

In a nutshell, CatScan collects the following data (for which CatAnalysis provides analysis functionality):

• Demographic data such as participants' age, sex, natural language etc.
• Similarity data for icons selected for a grouping / category construction experiment for each participant
• Linguistic labels for groups created by participants
• Sequence data that logs all participant activities
