✝️8:11 (and/or 811) is a surreal/horror psychological game.✝️
8:11 follows a French priest named Ryker Dublin, and their best friend, Leon. Both take shelter inside an abandoned church one night, when suddenly; Leon gifts you a cursed Bible just moments before he is mysteriously murdered.
Against Leon's wishes, Ryker leaves France to track down the man that killed their friend; seeking violent revenge. The player will explore new foreign lands, meet a strange cast of characters, watch reality distort, and see how Ryker processes their psychological trauma.
This game is rated 18+‼️ Yes, that includes the demo.

I love the game so far but im having an issue where every time i close out of it, my save files disappear and i have to restart from the start. I tried not closing the game to see if it would help but i got an error after trying to load a file. Please I dont want to restart the game everytime I play help ;(
I had this same problem, so turns out (for me at least) I didn't unzip the files!

amazing game.. i've always been a huge fan of surreal and religious themes, so it definitely hit all the right spots. the artwork is beautiful and inspiring, the writing is amazing, the characters are addicting . i found myself buying the game yesterday and already finishing it twice, hajah
Found a bug where Ryker's sprite becomes red stick figures :) Love the game tho, it's a wild ride.
This game reminded me that RPG Maker horrors are still horrors and can be scary...

Just in case anyone is having the same problem I experienced, the download i got after buying the game on itchio link wasn't working wasn't working, at least on firefox. I tried to download it in two different computers, and when I finally made it, the screen freezes every five minutes. I keep listening the musci and the command sounds but the screen star freezed. I switched to Chrome and now it downloaded normally, but the game keeps freezing just the same. Please help.
im having the exact same problem :( i cant get into the game at all, can hear the music and command sounds, but cant see anything. Stuck on a black screen on the start page. sighhhh.

i was in the catacombs basement as gaberiel and opened the door with the shovel and some how glitched back into the room i was in before and i cant get back help me (fixed)

SORRY i unfortunately had to start from the beginning but it really wasn't as bad as i thought, i just pressed down on the space bar for dialogue i didn't wanna see again and enabled always run and it only took me about an hour (only cus i looked around some more) to finish when the first time it took me 4 :) itll be worth it to start over dont worry

was so excited for this game but my game opened on a black screen... audio still seems to play, and i can still seem to enter the game and use buttons, but i can only see a black screen, no visuals at all :( does anybody know any fixes for this?? windows laptop user , using it through the itch.io app

Absolutely wonderful game! I was hooked, the characters are extremely interesting and the art is so gorgeous.

This game made me cry, i would pay to play this game for the first time again. If you enjoy indie games, psychological horror, or surreal dreamscape-ish games I cannot recommend this enough

Ayee there's a guide on the 811 wiki that explains how you can get it to work on mac :p It runs well you just have to make sure you have other apps closed while playing and remember to save progress as often as possible cause it has a tendency to freeze every once in a while, but not to the point that it won't be enjoyable
