@platar it depends on your workload, there isn't a blanket recommendation on this. If you encounter suboptimal query plans with only the automatic statistics update in place, then adding a periodic job would make sense. An extreme to avoid is to have a regular statistics update job that updates all ...

Would a regularly scheduled statistics update job be recommended to run, in addition, to keep statistics up to date? Forgive my inexperience, this is a technique that was utilized in the mainframe environment. There may already be advice out there about this, but I haven't encountered it. Thanks!

Hi @sasapopo , What about cross-tenant SQLMI DB migration support?I have 30+ DBs, with 1.6TB data to be migrated from one SQLMI1 in tenantA to SQLMI2 in tenantB. Whatever method (copy-move, SQLMI resource move, etc.) is available I would be interested.
