Christopher McDonald[1][2] adalah aktor film dan televisi asal dan berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat. Dia memerankan Darryl Dickinson di Thelma & Louise (1991), Shooter McGavin di Happy Gilmore (1996), Ward Cleaver di adaptasi film dari Leave It to Beaver (1997), Kent Mansley di The Iron Giant (1999), Tappy Tibbons di Requiem for a Dream (2000), dan Mel Allen di 61* (2001).
Kehidupan pribadi
[sunting | sunting sumber]McDonald lahir di Kota New York, dari pasangan bernama Patricia, seorang profesor keperawatan dan agen lahan yasan, dan James R. McDonald, seorang guru dan kepala sekolah menengah.[3][4][5]
Sebagai keturunan Irlan dan menganut agama Katolik,[6][7][8] dia dan saudara-saudaranya dibesarkan di Romulus, New York. Dia lulus dari Kampus Hobart di Geneva, New York dimana ia bermain sepak bola. Dulunya, ia merupakan anggota dari Kappa Alpha Society.
