Hackers with Heart
Hard work and social responsibility are an integral part of IOActive. We believe keeping people and businesses safe from cyber threats is job #1. We do that by serving the communities in which those people live. We take the responsibility of helping our communities as seriously as we take the work we do for our clients and commit to helping people across our interconnected world.
Our team launched IOActive’s Securing Smart Cities non-profit, a resource for companies, governments, and individuals to navigate the complexities of securing a smart city. Our CEO, Jennifer Steffens, founded and hosts “Women, Wisdom & Wine” events in cities across the globe for women in security to network among their peers and share their unique experiences. Many of us mentor young people in diverse communities to help them pave the way as leaders of tomorrow.
Hackers with Heart is another way IOActive demonstrates its commitment to serve. The Hackers with Heart program not only helps improve the lives of others, but also acts as an outlet for members of the InfoSec community to contribute their time and energy to improve the world.
