Everything I've played that's indie enough to be on itch. I have reviews that I update whenever I add another or play the same game multiple times.
it was p alright! though i was kinda tired while playing it so that's prob why i didn't like it as much. character creation is fun
Went really well! I liked interpreting the tarot to be different complications, and things getting easier every loop. Some of the other players would have preferred there to be a GM but I'm not sure if that's just because some people were unused to balancing narrative control. Really liked the tarot system. But by loop 2 we were solving the complications by gamma knife and loop 4 we beat it during robot stop. Unfortunately didn't get to deal with the forced loop after the first one.
This one of my favorite games to play and my favorite game to run. Wanderhome deserves all the praise it gets, it's just a genuinely fun and nice time. Works really nicely for one shots as well as campaigns. Easy to teach and easy get lost in the setting and wander back home.
Ran this game as a oneshot with people with a range of some to no TTRPG experience. It was a good way to get people used to roleplaying because it's done in a more narrative author view. Ran it again with new people and I'm better at teaching it now!
This game rules! I ran a one shot of Leverage in this system for rules light week, and it was super fun. Rules as written are kind of vague, but I chose to have one tower for everyone in the planning phase and then one tower each during the heist (I would change this for future games). The different stages are super satisfying and build the tension very nicely!
Ran this on Halloween, and it was a good time. I wonder how to make the turns less repetitive.
Ran this in a rotating-GM style with 6 people, and it was very silly and easy to teach and get the game rolling. It was more difficult to follow along at times because of how loose the playstyle and rules are, but it wasn't bad. Got a little repetitive but you know we stay silly.
Ran this once for scary games week. I liked the system of taking turns doing scenes with each other. I also liked how each character's ending was dictated by other players.
Takes a long while to get started, but the worldbuilding and worldbuilding mechanics are very good. Would love to have a session 2.
Played this as a one shot, fun concept and mechanics. The rulesbook is kind of wordy, there isn't really a good way to see quick descriptions of every general move.
Fun one page RPG, though the person running better know their Dark Souls and improvise creative ways to mess with the game.
I was a player in a very chaotic one shot that ended in a TPK. Kind of shaky to get the handle on it, and we never really dealt with the themes on the game. Realizing that I might not be a fan of dice pool systems.
