There are some unique gameplay elements in this game and we definitely need more entry like this. I think that's the lesson #1 for game jams: make new stuff from old pre-existing materials. It's a good way to get something good in that short ammount of time !

Developer

Yes, indeed! Small game jams like Trijam don't leave us much room to do fancy things, so we need to focus mainly on gameplay.

TBH, I like this type of restriction, because it makes me try to be more direct and virtuous.

Wow, your game is an absolute gem! I've been thoroughly impressed by the quality and how perfectly it aligns with the theme. Your dedication and creativity shine through every aspect of the game. Well done!
PS: I hate the growing enemies (which is kind of good since they are enemies)

Developer

Thanks!

A good take on Space Invader that fits well the them, well done!

Developer

Thanks!

One of the first great arcade games has always been an inspiration to me.

A rather original mechanic, for sure ! The difficulty is really well balanced ! My best score is 119 seconds, I don't think I'm a really good player :)

Developer

Thanks!

I guess 119 seconds is quite good :;

Pretty cool game! I like the fact that the enemies grow if you hit them with the wrong bullets haha.

Developer

Thanks!

The fun fact: this enemy inflation mechanic had not been something that I planned for the game before starting to code it, but it was something that naturally arose as a new mechanic the first time that I tested it.

I got 1360 points! I like it well done!

Developer

Oh my! This is a lot of points!

You're playing better than me :). Nice!

Great job, very easy to understand, and it can get very difficult once you start to make mistakes 🤣

Really nice mechanics, I did consider something like ikaruga for mine too, but you've really pulled it off here.
Great work!

Developer(+1)

I know Ikaruga, but I've never played it (shame on me).

I had not realized until you mentioned some similarities in the basic mechanics, and indeed, they exist in some level.

Thanks for playing it!

I'm glad you liked.

Had fun playing and loved the vibe! This could have easily had it's own arcade machine back in the days hahah

Developer

Thanks!

The 8-years-me would definitely spend some coins on that machine :)

This was fun! Made me think twice about just blindly firing haha

Developer

Thanks!

Yep, no blindfolds on this one.
