Opening the game makes my audio shitty, even for other programs and even if I mute the game. Running in WINE

I mentioned this during the stream too but after a while I noticed the noise had stopped. Still no idea what the issue is

Very fun and a great concept, definitely would be way more fun playing with friends, this is for sure a party game. The sprites and animations all look great. The game is very difficult, the very tight timings mixed with hard attack end lag, different angles you have to deal with, and the slow speed of the characters makes fighting bots a tough challenge, even the easier ones.

Good party game.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it, even if you're a filthy smasher. I think the timing gets a bit easier over time but it's definitely an initial hump.

The tutorials helped me out so much here. Knowing about the Left+Attack command with no delay at all is a gamechanger. I felt like I could master this if I spent enough time in it, really great job!

My only suggestion  -- what if you put the "powerup" bar above the player at all times? I might just be dumb but my eyes are so focused on my player in the game i never really look on the upper left to see if I have ability. Just an idea.

Developer

Thanks for playing!
I think having the meter above players would be a bit too visually distracting, but I do want to try maybe having sound cues when bars are filled

I might be a total scrub with 0 pong foresight, but it's nigh impossible to defeat any bots. Swing startup is way too slow, just can't do it.

Also forcing to hit all the different basic attacks in character tutorial seems pointless since characters vary in supers and specials.
