Super Cool, I haven't seen a movement system like this before! I especially like the semi-3D sprite work, super well done. Crazy difficult, but in a good way. This would be really cool as a whole platformer game with a ton of bosses!
Thanks for playing! I'm a huge fan of prerendered sprites!
Simple yet efficient graphics! Took me a little time to get a grip on the controls but it clicked in the end :)
Thanks for playing!
Great work! This is a fun and exciting game I really enjoyed, love the design of all the characters and enemies! Nice job!
Thanks for playing!
Love the game! Nothing wrong with having a difficult game, beat it after about a dozen tries. I enjoyed the simple risk-reward mechanic of attacking/moving.
Gave me Devil Daggers vibes with the consistent spawning of the enemies. Good job!
Nice skills! Thanks for playing! I'm a huge fan of Devil Daggers and Hyper Demon!
Nice game. My high score was 25 seconds left
Nice run! Thanks for playing!
Fun little highscore game. The theme implementation is perfect. Audio and visuals were a bit wild, as in lots of dynamics, normalize things a bit, and I think it will feel a lot better. Still looks neat and sounds neat. So great job to the team that worked on it!
Thanks so much for playing and feedback! I don't have much audio design experience. Besides the voice acting this is a solo project!
Super fun and addictive game - loved the difficulty. I only got this far but I will go back and beat this eventually lol. Good job!
Thanks so much for playing! I think you've gotten farther than most!
Seems like a fun game to me, but after around 20 short quite short attempts I couldn't figure out how to get below 40 seconds. I held the buttons at first (without realizing that spamming is a lot better) and could not go below 45. I'm no good at spamming buttons on my keyboard so unfortunately I will pass on trying to beat this probably very fun game :(. On a more positive note, I like the music, pixelated (DS esque) art style and I think the game's aspects work really well with one another!
Thanks for playing! Holding the buttons is definitely the way to go. To clear the big waves you can lure the flying enemies down and move around them or you can fly up, switch modes, and shoot them as they spawn. I hope you give it another shot!
I absolutely adored the 2D/3D look of the sprites in this game, made me think of the cool nintendo DS/N64 style I was shooting for too! All of the animations along with the sound FX made the art really shine. A good time :)
Thanks for playing!
This is really fun but also really hard. It took me way too long to realize I can shoot in both direction at once lol. But the satisfaction once you figured it out and able to start taking the enemy down is so good. This game really makes you feel like Biggy.
Thanks for playing! I should definitely add a tip that you can fire in both directions.
I'm going to make my Amish cousin play this game.
Go for it!
Very interesting shooting/movement mechanic that I really like! But it's definitely a bit too hard for me q-q. I think it would be great if there was more of a tutorial/ramp up!
Thanks for playing!
This is the hardest game I've played so far. Also one of my favorite! Great vibes on the music that fit really well. Awesome control idea. The art is just *chef's kiss* I really wanna play this on a Sega Genesis. <3
Thank you so much!! I'm sorry it's so hard, I just felt it had to be since it's only a minute long.
Hoo boy! I am not good at this game, but I love everything about it otherwise.
Switching between modes is clean, and love how simple but effective the 2 direction shooting is.
Great arcade game, love the use of 3d models translated into pixel sprites.
Concept art is awesome in the About section too! :-)
Thanks for playing! I'm a huge fan of the prerendered aesthetic, I'm glad other people like it too.
Nice work! I love the smoothness of the transition animations. Has a heck of a learning curve but very satisfying once you wrap your brain around it. Excellent!
Thanks so much!
So close!!! I was on 17 seconds!!
😵😵
Just go for it!
I really liked the audio in this game. It had a nice vibe to it and its timing when I switched modes was cool. Positioning accurately is super difficult. I think the best time I got was 52 seconds.
Nice run! Thanks for playing!
I'm really good at dying in this game lol
The Idea is super cool though!
Thanks for playing! I'm sorry it's so hard, I like tough games!
Such a great concept, and really well made, but damn its punishing! Loved it though
Thanks so much! It means a lot.
Great concept! The game is simple and easy to learn, but incredibly hard to master. Seems very arcade-like with its fast pace, kind of made me feel like I should have a stack of quarters on hand, and maybe 3 lives so I don't feel like I'm losing quite so fast. It becomes really difficult really fast and I think it would be a good idea to tune that down a little so players can feel like they're progressing instead of just immediately being thrown into the deep-end. But of course that depends on what kind of game you're trying to make. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for playing! I'm a big fan of dense arcade games so I tried to fit everything into a minute. You know exactly where I'm coming from!
