How does your game fit the theme?
The Hero of the story is a vessel diving deeper and deeper. Players will also dive deep into the narrative to solve a mystery.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We used one package for FX particle effects, and a free audio library song from youtube. All other assets were created from scratch for this game jam.

Excellent graphics, good concept and atmospheric music.
Thanks for playing! Glad to hear you liked the graphics.
Great game with a really nice atmospere, very intense ! Good job !
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it!
Yeees! I thoroughly enjoyed the music, which complements the surroundings perfectly. The inclusion of the riddle was a creative touch. Needed something to scare me or something but so far an awesome submission.
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. Would've been fun to have something huge chasing you at the end, haha. I'll for sure have to add it in there sometime after this is over.
Great job on the models and the atmosphere. Maybe you could add a note or some indication for the player because at the beginning the game was not very straightforward.
Thanks for playing. Sorry it was a little confusing at first. Hopefully it started to come together as you collected the riddle. I think my mistake was putting all that info in the itch page rather than the actually game. I'll definitely have to add a tutorial section or something in the game to help explain the goal. Glad you like the environment.
Yea, exactly. Adding a tutorial level or simply some info bubbles throughout the gameplay would help a ton with the game.
Loved the concept and the gameplay. The music was intense.. I was freaking out that there will be a monster or sea creature coming out any time .. thrilling .. very fun game
Thanks, haha. I'm glad you liked it even with the intense music.
Good job, man!)
Thank you.
Weird game, to be honest… I didn’t really understood what’s happening here, lol. Music adds some tension that isn’t really here actually, sound design… where, it doesn’t exists. Controls feels nice, but sound is lacking sadly. Gameplay isn’t bad, but nothing more, really (says me, the person who just made some first person platformer). Fits theme perfectly tho.
Thanks for being honest. I don't have really any experience with sound design, which is pretty obvious since the game didn't have any. I have gotten some good tips from this game jam for the next one, and I'm all ears if you have any advice for ways I can get good audio clips for better SFX.
The depths of life!
Things I enjoyed ✔️
Things I would like to possibly see with your title. 🤷♂️
Overall 📓
Great work on this game! I had fun playing it, and I love this idea of telling a story! I cant wait to see what other games you make in the future!
Thank you so much. You have some awesome comments and I really appreciate the feedback. I'm glad to hear you had fun playing and that you were able to solve the riddle. Hopefully it was a fun surprise when you realized what the vessel you are driving actually is.
I’m glad I could help with giving feedback!
Being able to look at the next orb directly is an interesting idea, since it's easy to get disorientated in the level
I like how despite having the control to look at the next orb directly, most of them are placed in a way that you have to navigate around obstacles to collect them, so it isn't boring
I like the models, such as the red jump scare things (don't know what it is exactly), which is disgusting, but I guess is expected inside a belly
Good game!
Thanks for your positive comments and feedback. I went back and forth on having the guiding system because I was afraid it would get boring, but I'm glad to hear that it was still fun.
Nothing special but nothing bad either. Was quite fun to play. Hope you get to 20 ratings def. deserved to exist in the jam good job! :)
Thanks for playing. Glad you had some fun with it.
Nice game, controls are a bit weird but it's fine. Good job!
Thank you!
The visuals are cool. I loved the music. It matches with the environment. Riddle part was creative. Good job!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the riddle!
Can I just say right off the bat, the F key to point to the orb is genius. Genius. Immediate 5 star innovation. Every game like this should have a key like that, thank you for saving directionally-challenged people like me. Graphics were pretty good, each environment was interesting so you didn't get bored exploring, the game had its challenges but was never too difficult.I think the music have been better, it's a little intense for an otherwise relaxing, immersive experience. Very solid game all around though, I had a great time playing it and I finished it! I'm curious as to what happened if you got the riddle wrong.
Thank you for all your positive comments and feedback. Glad to hear the F key was helpful, I went back and forth quite a bit on how to accomplish that sort of guiding system, so hopefully it turned out useful. I'm getting a lot of comments on the music and the sound effects, because it was obviously lacking. I don't have much experience with sound other than going to freesound.org... lol, so if you have any advice on the best ways to approach it, that would be awesome. Thanks again.
90% of my sounds are from there too LOL it's a game jam paradise.
In terms of music, what you can do is look up copyright free music on YouTube and convert a song that really matches the style of your game to an mp3 and put that in. That's how I got the four soundtracks for my game, there's a ton of great indie stuff there :)
Interesting game... I liked the riddle part, and uncovering the messages to the riddle.
Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoyed the riddle, hopefully it wasn't too difficult to solve.
Honestly I initially thought it might be hard to solve... at least until I actually read it and used my brain lol
Hey... it is an experience... the gameplay is simple and effective, no need to reinvent the wheel if not needed, but with wonderful execution. one complaint I'll have is that I was a few lines in and meant to pause to read new ones, so I pressed ESC and it closed without any warnings/confirmations. besides that one thing, the game worked really well and the built atmosphere was very good. Good job!
Thank You! I appreciate you taking the time to play the game even after the accidentally force quit. That means a lot, especially coming from a fellow dog with headphones, haha. I'm not sure how we missed adding some sort of confirmation before exit, but thank you for catching that and bringing it up to us. Glad you like the game besides that.
The visuals are great! The environment looks grand and makes you feel like you're... in the belly of the beast? Unfortunately, my keyboard's arrow keys are busted so I couldn't really finish the game (I got some progress using only the aiming from the F). Maybe you could add control configurations, or allow both arrows and wasd movement. Though, looking at some gameplay, I bet the game has a lot to it. Great work!
Dang, thanks for playing it still. I considered adding WASD controls but ran out of time, now I wish I would've just done it, haha. I really appreciate the positive feedback on your comment though!
Controls felt really good and intuitive, Didn't realize the red orbs were gonna one hit me at first lol. All around great work!
Thanks, haha. Hopefully that didn't make you lose too much progress. Thanks for playing!
Really cool and unique concept here! The environment was well executed and definitely gives you the feeling of being inside something - and yes, I played all the way through so I know what that thing is 😉 Really great entry. If I had a wishlist of things to add it would be the ability to rotate/roll the camera, and maybe add some more sounds for extra atmosphere. I have to admit, I was a big dummy for a bit and got so caught up exploring that I completely forgot you could press F to locate the next hint! Luckily for your amusement you can watch it below in my gameplay video playthrough 😂
Haha, that was actually really enjoyable watching you play! thanks for sticking it through to the end. I wish I would have had some more time for the sound design because that definitely was lacking as far as the game experience and player feedback. I really appreciate your comments and thanks for taking the time to record that video. Sounds like you might be the only one who has solved the riddle so far!
I was really enjoying this for a while, the underwater exploration was very atmospheric and controlled well, and it was always easy to know where I should be going. There were some interesting cutscenes as the character used these old machines to transform, and the camera got a little tight and hard to see at the end, but thanks to the F key the navigation was still simple. A collect sound for the orbs would have been a nice touch to add some player feedback.
The whole thing kind of fell flat at the end, where I was presented with a wall of words and a text entry box and no idea what the game expected of me. I wasn't even given a failure notice on entering the wrong answer that would have helped me be confident that the text recognition was working at all. Ultimately I spent almost 10 minutes trying different answers before giving up in frustration with a sour taste in my mouth.
Thanks so much for playing and for the honest feedback. Glad to hear you liked the environment and the game mechanics. It's definitely sad to hear that the ending didn't land like I had hoped it would. Its good to hear where we can improve our design for the game experience. This was my first jam so hopefully I can just keep getting better as I learn for the next ones.
Oh man, such great controls! The ambience and design was soooo good too ^^
Thanks so much for your positive feedback! It means a lot to me that you played and liked the game.
