Great game, I like the idea and the execution.

However it seems the green gas didn’t injure my hero for some reason ?

Really fun game, well done.

I loved this game!  I can't believe more people haven't rated it. The only problem I had was the html version didn't fullscreen, it just bugged out.

But everything was so good! I loved deciding which thing to do first, and blocking bullets and enemies until my guy was ready and capable of taking on the challenge. Each level was designed so well!

I had so much fun through-out the whole thing, I was so happy when I found there was more after the second level.

Such a good job! I can't even think of any negatives or criticisms! Just wish there was more!

Wow this was really fun! It looked really polished out, no bugs no nothing, good music, good art and good gameplay! Amazing

Hey, thanks a lot! glad you enjoyed it :) I tried a lot of new stuff so I'm really happy I got it all working.

I have a few people to thank for playtesting the game and helping me find a pretty big bug before the deadline! :D

I really enjoyed playing as the support to the hero. Using your body as a way to defend the hero was a fun mechanic to have. The introduction to the controls and what you could do was well made. Felt like I was being introduced to each mechanic one by one.

The level design was also good. Having the difficulty increase and forcing you to rush to some spot to prevent the hero from dying/suffocating was fun.

The art could use a bit ore shading as it did feel flat, but it did suit the style of the game.

Thanks very much! really appreciate the feedback.
Yeah, I agree. I had made some quick art at the start to just get something in, and was planning to replace them and add some animations but never got back around to it :)

Fun submission! Congrats! :D It seems very well-made and each level was fun to get through. I'd love to see more levels on this, I could have kept playing it for a while. I agree with avatarer that some more interactive feedback could be a good addition to make it more clear. Maybe even some little hacking mini-games if you were to make a proper post-jam version!

Thanks for submitting!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I really like the idea of the mini-games!

Excelent! Gameplay feels very polished, it's original and very fun. I encourage you to make more levels and keep working on the game (for example, adding more visual feedback when the hero gets damaged)

Developer

Thanks very much, Glad you enjoyed it.
I was considering continuing on with the game after the jam so that's great to hear!
Some visual feedback on hero damage would be a really nice touch!

I liked your take on the theme ! To use your body as a shield to do everything a human cant do is pretty cool. I would have loved to see progress bar on the shots of the enemies, to be able to put yourself in front of the enemy when he's about to shoot !

The music fits the robot not taking damages the whole time !

Good job !

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah I love that idea of the progress bar! It wasn't until I implemented hard difficulty that I noticed how tricky it was to block non-turret enemy bullets while still letting your hero shoot back at them. That would be a really nice feature to improve that.
