i was very confused, but from what i gather, you shoot the gun and move the guy to keep him from getting killed by the trolls?
yes you are correct you should have read the description thank you for your feedback
sorry i try not to read descriptions. i like to see how easy a game is to figure out.
it was fun to shoot the enemies
I had fun with this but as others have said I feel it may have gone too far in one direction and not enough in another, the lack of control is on-theme but if it was pushed even harder it could transition into hilarity rather than frustration
The idea is good, but it just felt too chaotic. I never felt like I was controlling chaos, which was an aspect I liked about other games that went for the out of control of the mechanics. I think if you added some control back to the player, still kept the chaotic nature, it could be very good.
Didn't have too much fun with this one, tbh. While there's certainly a feeling of lack of control, the gameplay felt kinda bland. I think this boils down to the level being too simple and the enemies basically just rolling around. The sprites were cool though, and I really liked the particle effects! Good luck.
This is a bit difficult to play, maybe this one is a bit too out of control. The idea is pretty interesting though, I think it can become a fun game with some polish. Good job on submitting :)
Good idea, the combination of both character and gun gives good out of control feels! I felt like the sound effects could have been tuned down a bit.
thanks for the sound advice your game by the way I hope your game makes top 20
The idea was pretty good, the controls were a bit weird though. With a little bit of work this could be a pretty fun game. Good job!
pretty cool idea and I really like the game... One thing which I found anoying is that the UI was very small, In Unity you could fix this by going to the canvas and select "Scale with screen size"... Still well done with the game
Cool idea! Although it needs a little more polish, overall, good work!
It's an interesting idea, and it feels very chaotic. Visually, the particle effects are very nice, and the main character is quite cute; though the various sprites feel a bit mismatched in style. The sound effects are nice, though having a few more (eg for the gun moving) might be nice. I like the idea of having the player and the gun separately, it seems like this can be an interesting mechanic, though I don't see why you should only be able to move the gun a few times? Also, the fact that you can stand on enemies is a bit weird, but it did lead to some funny moments, like when a tiny bat took me on a journey.
UPDATES COMING SOON
It's a good idea, just not executed properly, Good work!
Outof control is very descriptive I feel ^^
I like the bats look :p
very fun experience! I love how it fits the theme!
Really enjoyed the gun, a bit challenging on getting a sense of accomplishment though. Player movement felt awkward and wonky, though that may have been design of the theme. Got stuck in weird random places a couple of times standing on nothing but unable to move or fall. I also may have spent a bit too much time just watching the gun destroy enemies, the bullets, physics and particle explosion combination was beautiful to me :)
the movement was made to fit the theme of the jam i might change this Post jam
Cool. I got to a score of 300. Though its half polished - half not, I will say this as a suggestion: set the compression of low resolution images to "None" in the inspector, that way the would look more better and crisp!
There is a nice feeling placing the gun and see it shooting at the mouse position. Cool.
