Well, I certainly had a laugh with this one, even if it's not the most original game in the Jam.
Thanks for playing and leaving a comment! Glad you enjoyed it! Just curious, what other games have you played that are similar to this one? I know muximus' game Beast (https://muximus.itch.io/beast) is definitely a very similar core mechanic.
I wasn't referring to any one specific game, it's just that a lot of games did the mechanic of losing control of the player character when certain conditions were met. But I think your game did a good job at using it to humorous effect. I also like how all the characters have funny googly eyes, that only sweetens the deal.
Ok gotcha! Thanks for clarifying, I appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed my attempt at humor :)
Looks like we have very similar mechanics for our games xD nice work!
Woah! Yes we do! I played your game just now and it's super fun! Very well put together. Thanks for playing and leaving a comment, it means a lot.
Love the idea behind this, and the quirky little voices you added. The gameplay is quite fun and the 'losing control' element is satisfying.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words, thanks for playing!
Very fun game, it's very satisfying when you get a group of enemies and bounce between them all real fast! Great Work.
Thank you for playing and leaving this kind comment, it means a lot!
Pretty good idea. It could become a full game in the future! I liked a lot that in this game you are the zombie in the apocalypse and not the opposite. The lost of your control when you are near humans communicates very well the feeling of being a zombie.
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment! Glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate you saying it could be a full game, I plan on polishing it a bit after the jam ends, stay tuned!
The random dialogue gives this game so much extra personality! Great work :)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have played+rated Milo's Day Out and it is very nice and polished so I appreciate this feedback! Good luck to you!!
Very fun! And I love the sounds haha. Good take on the out of control theme!
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Sound effects made me giggle.
Funny Idea, very creative.
Would like more playability as in, different maps, different enemies, and gun boys not just standing and waiting to shoot me down, maybe also more variety to them.
PS.: I had some enemies spawn outside of the map, so there might be a problem with that, too. Also make sure that enemies don't spawn on screen, feels unnatural.
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a comment!
Yes, I agree, the humans' behavior is not very exciting. I am thinking to have fewer humans on the map, with more complex behaviors. Unfortunately I ran out of time, got caught up in adding the juice and making sure that my UI stayed intact haha.
Thank you for the advice on the spawn points, I will use it, appreciate it.
Lol, nice sound effects. I like the auto target mode, made it quite satisfying when you found large groups of people.
Good job!
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the sound effects and auto target!
Very fun game! idk why but your "Where am i going now?" is so satisfying haha
Great job!
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment! Haha I thought that might help the "out of control" feeling that both the player and character should have. I wish I could have added more!!
Thank you so much! Great score!
I will definitely check your game out.
This game has the best sound effects.
I am glad you enjoyed them! Thanks for playing and leaving this comment, I appreciate it!
Haha this is a fun idea. However, once there are enough enemies on the screen, you don't get to play anymore, because the guy is always in range of another human.
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment! I know there is a tipping point after which you literally have no control haha. Currently the game considers more enemies as being difficult but perhaps changing that to be more about how the enemies behave or perhaps damage taken over time would be better. Do you have any thoughts?
It seems like some enemies shoot and some dont, right? Increasing the ratio of shooting enemies to non-shooting enemies would make it harder.
Fun but weirdly the more enemys the more easy the game became at a point where i just let go of the control and the zombie run around kiling enemys and recovering life on his own

I am not a professional, not even close, this is my first jam and i have what, three games under my belt, but i think that more damage, less enemys, and better "ai' as the time goes by, or maybe different enemys like one that tries to keep it's distance or one harder to kill, that would be better, in my opinion
Thank you for that advice! I will see about updating this to have smarter and more damaging enemies to work with the out of control mechanic.
This is so much fun! I played for much longer than I intended to haha. Super cool submission!
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! What was your highest body count??
I think it was 186
That is pretty good!
Best narratoin and script since portal 2.
Thank you! That is high praise. Thanks for playing and leaving a comment.
Did the team do this voice acting? :) I love it!
Haha yes I did do all the voice acting, I was trying to go for a zombie that doesn't have much to "live" for. Thank you for playing and leaving a comment!
The idea of taking control out of teh player when the Zombie chooses a victim was quite original!
Thank you so much!! It came after a ton of other ideas were just not good enough!
