How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of being the hero going on a dungeon crawl, the player is the architect tasked with building the dungeon. In a meta perspective it also reverses the roles of the player and the dev because this time, the player designs a level that will maximize the utility of the dev's ai character.

Now this is a cool dungeon-building game! A shame that it is too luck based, but it was fun trying to get through the game! I would be returning again to play this game more and try to beat it, but boy it took a lot of time out of me xD Graphics are nice, audio is good, gameplay just needs a little bit of tweaking.

I like dungeons theme games so I had a lot of fun.
I like art and gameplay. You made good work!

I love dungeon builders. The possibilities with the room placement and orientation make it a fun puzzle trying to figure out the best arrangement. I like the game, though as you've mentioned getting through the dungeon is too luck based. Maybe try tightening the random range (e.g. 0.5 the stat value to 1.5 the stat value or something like that), or make the permanent bonuses larger and more common?

Also I don't know if anyone else had this issue but when I tried to rotate the room with my mouse wheel it went spinning like crazy.

This feels like it was very ambitious for a game jam, but it's all there and even feels polished. You did great!

I did struggle a bit being dumped into the deep end from the beginning with all the mechanics. I think a smaller level first with maybe only 3 out of the 7 stats would've helped ease me into it. As is, there's a lot of text to read and a lot of cost/reward choices to calculate in my head right off the bat.

An interesting twist and a popular Jam idea, I really like it and I'm a suck for good pixel art if my own game did give that away

This game has really nice and snappy controls! Placing rooms felt really nice, and all the visuals made it very clear what I could do. The game is a little difficult, maybe you could have a couple levels with a smaller play area and less room variety, that way players can understand your intended strategies! Otherwise, great idea, great aesthetic, nice job!

Really nice pixel art. Also your UI layout is well organised and easy to understand. Good Job!

Very cool game concept I like that the randomized tiles make it a challenge to fill in the route.

Fonud it quite challenging but overall a very cool idea and well executed!

At first was a bit difficult to grasp the main idea of the game but after a while it's SUPPERRRR FUN! Incredible what u've managed to do in 48hours!

I LOVE the concept and how you design each room's mechanics.

Tbh the depth of this game is not that much but the plenty of text and lack of mechanic introduction make the game feels hard to understand from its look.

By the way, you're doing well!!  I really want to see how this game will be, once the game is fully polished.

An absolute banger! Love the mechanics and design!

Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the vod again in the future here it is timestamped to your game

It's really hard but also very fun to play. I don't like that it reset the dungeon every time that the hero dies, it's frustrating. But beside that the concept is very nice, you could probably do a full game with that. Well done!

Great game had a lot of fun playing, like the interpretaion of the theme.

Took me a few tries to understand the what to do, but the game play loop is quick so I wasn't really that frustating. The UI with the stats was unclear and hard to read.

But overall great game, well polished, and i had fun playing it.

Nice work! I think there's a bit of information overload as you start the game, but once you get the grasp, it's very fun!

Very fun! Good execution of the concept!

Overall a good game and nice take on the theme. One main criticism I have is that the player is bombarded with a lot of text as soon as they start the game. I think maybe it might be better to have more mechanics slowly introduced over time. Good job overall though.

Overall pretty good, but the learning curve can be a bit stiff. Took me quite a few tries to get through the first floor.

Uhh, nice one.

I was always wondering how my childhood dungeons looked like they were made for me to get strong enough ;)
