Unique concept! definitely difficult to get the hang of, but i like the flip on the bullet hell experience.
Cool concept! Though rather tricky to get the hang of.
Played on stream! See the video for timestamp.
Cool game! Where did that file size come from? The game itself doesn’t look like it’s 150MB - also make sure to compress that if you want a web build, cause it’ll load forever.
I completed the game twice - what does the rank mean? How much damage I took, how quick I was? Would be cool to have some explanation on that one, otherwise good job on the game!
Thanks for playing. Someone who actually beat it. Bugs and all :) I started with the idea of using a terrain with assets. Wasn't working out but never deleted anything. Was using GAIA for Unity. Bloated it. You can actually get to the terrain.( All the foliage was deactivated though but still part of scene) One button triggers invincible "dash" for a few frames that lets you go through walls. The scoring system not working properly. Just scores punches. It was supposed to score based on time / streaks / no damage etc. Rank works. It saves all the scores and ranks them all. So if you play again using mostly punches you will get a #1 rank for sure. I will be cleaning everything up for the Web build hopefully.
Sounds good! Always curious to hear what goes on behind the curtains during game dev! Thanks for the explanation =)
The concept is good, but the gameplay could be a bit more balanced (there should be more incentive for the player to make the enemies shoot). Nice entry overall.
Nice idea.
Nice game but a bit buggy and kind of unforgiving, my strat was to gather them all in 1 room, then spam shoot button from the farthest room so they'd all kill each other LOL
Great job for a game jam!
Understood the mechanics but not being able to kill the last enemy was really frustrating.
Thanks. VERY. It wasn't the idea. SEE POST.
cool concept, I didn't finish the game because I ended with only 1 enemy and didn't know how to kill it, but a fun experience in general
This game seems to have an interesting premise, and has potential. I probably would've had more fun if it weren't so buggy. I kept on getting stuck on apparently nothing, and the enemies would frequently attack nothing (maybe the hitboxes of defeated enemies didn't despawn, or something like that?). Sometimes shots appeared to just phase through walls. also, there was a constant clicking sound, and at one point I had two menus pop up on top of each other.
Yeah Thanks.
Buggy. 48 hours Solo. Overwhelmed
I had just posted the following
Great concept and I had fun trying to trick them around corners.
i didn't really understand i died all of the time it was really fun though
It's very interesting premise, I did enjoy making the enemies attack themselves though I feel this could have a larger impact if they made less noise when being alerted of the player and more emphasis was made on them getting hit with sound effects, particles etc. I found myself trying to find a way to put a wall between myself and them to spam click attack, maybe a larger map could allow for this.
