As everyone else said the art is great and the music choice was approparitly adventruos. I could see myself having fun with this but i hate to admit that i had no idea what i was doing
Awesome game! I liked how well organized all the UI looked. The little feedback you gave for all mouse hovers felt nice and the game looks snappier with them. Would like some sort of a slide-in-out animation for the characters when selecting, small breathing animation with y position offsets, and and a small jump anim when the character speaks. That would make the game look more alive. Overall really good job!
Wow, you are right! Thanks!!
You're welcome! I hope you enjoyed my game as well! Would be awesome if you can share a comment!

There is a lot to like about this but also a lot missing. I loved the character design, really interesting characters that I wanted to stay with for longer. The music was quite nice too. And the approach to the topic I liked too. First time I see the "Be the NPC" played out well, like I felt like I was actually doing NPC stuff.
What was missing though was good UX. I wasn't sure when something was selected or when I had to press play (for first few minutes I didn't even see the play button). I was not sure whether I am removing an item or giving it at times. I'd say highlighting stuff more and maybe adding another tab to show which item is currently being given would help that.
What was nice at first but later fell a bit flat was that the responses from the "players" didn't relate much to the quests. I also felt that I didn't have much control. I had a random set of quests to give and had no idea which rewards would they get from it. Most of the time I felt like I had to give the characters some item that wouldn't help them.
Again love the idea and the characters but it felt a bit lacking in the design.
Thanks for you comment, its really useful!
I second this. A lot of the UI made the game harder to play than it needed to be
Interesting concept! It's very fun and I absolutely love the style to this! Kudos to the artist!
thanks you!!1
Super cool game with an amazing artstyle. Some introductions would have helped especially at the beginning. But after understanding what to click the game made a lot of fun.
Super cool game, keep it up!
Game concept cool and nice executed :) Art is amazing, well done!
Love the art, but was getting a bit lost in the interface. There's a lot to take in. :-)
Amazing artwork! It matches the gameplay really well.
One suggestion I have if you are planning on developing this game further in the future would be to change the trait descriptors as items are given (like "dexterous" would change to "very dexterous" after enough dexterity boosting items are given), or something else that serves as an indicator for how much the boosts to those stats were actually helping.
I also encountered a bug where I couldn't continue playing even though I had selected quests for all of the characters. I'm pretty sure it happens when you select one quest but then select another quest (on the same character) without first unselecting the first quest.
Overall cool concept and fun game though!
The artwork is super polished and pretty! I also like the dialogue from the characters :D
The art is really cool
Thanks everybody for comments, so i added quick tutorial
A neat idea, but I agree with the fact that some tutorial might help, just a little step by step guide on the game page could already go a long way. If you have some time maybe add that. I could not figure out what rewards I had give and which ones not, it all felt a bit chaotic, the quest giving step was quite clear on the other hand. All in all this is pretty impressive for a jam game, I love the art especially. Well done!
I really like the concept of this game, very fitting to the theme. The art is wonderful and every character portrait has it own unique personality.
It would be nice to have a some sort of tutorial, but the game is not that complex and you can pretty much understand it's mechanics just by trying things. The UI/UX might need a bit of work as well, since it's not always clear what is clickable and what is not.
But overall this is a very enjoyable cool game with neat concept. Well done!
Thanks for large comment, about ui you are right for sure
Absolutely love the art and the music! They fit so well together! I thought the game itself was pretty fun and strategic. I loved this game tbh.
Nice game! The art looks good and the gameplay is interesting. My adventurers keep dying but after a few attemps i was able to last longer. Good Job!
Looks very nice but I'm not really sure what to do in the game.
I cant play: Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
:(
Its strange, maybe you can try from another browser
will try
Stunning Artstyle, great concept overall. It takes a while to figure out how to distrubute Tasks and rewards, but once you do, it's quite addicting. Although my 'very strong' character kept dying to common strength quests i had a lot of fun playing questinator.
It's hard to figure out how to play. But the art is great!
I think this could be a very good one with a tutorial.
I had difficutly figuring out how to play, but the art and UI was very charming. Looked like a promising premise!
