How does your game fit the theme?
Because the feature isn't well communicated in the game: YOU MUST REACTIVATE TRAPS BY MOVING TO THE BLUE BUTTON BESIDE THEM. Sry for the caps. Instead of playing a knight that rescues a woman, you play a princess that defends herself against everyone who wants to harm her dragon friend and tries to marry her. It’s a strong parody to classic Donkey Kong (1981), where your goal is to rescue the princess and defeat a monster.

Love the fire effect!! Took me a  moment to notice where I could see the flower amount I had and where to collect them as their color does not stand out a lot, but then I had a blast defending against those annoying knights. Also very nice intro and art style
Great game, congrats!

They really gotta do something about all these knights "rescuing" princesses

I love it. Instead of pans, I would have given her barrels directly to go full reverse donkey kong

Fabulous Game! I love the art style and overall presentation of this game. The concept is also very original and is a great take on the theme. Although the knights spawn way too fast which makes the game feel a bit unbalanced, it is still an incredibly fun game. Incredibly Well Done!

I love the art style you went with, it has a story-book kind of vibe that goes well with the premise. I think the enemies were a little too fast, at least to start and it would have been nice to be able to place traps by clicking on them.

I love the concept though and was a fun twist on tower defense.

Developer

thx for the feedback. There is a bug in the spawn logic, that causes the enemies to spawn too early :(

Ah, that makes a lot of sense then! It's not crippling but it did seem like you would get overwhelmed really quickly. Now I know why, bit unfortunate but at least it isn't a major bug that prevents you from enjoying the game.

Really cool, I did not entirely understood how certain of my traps are triggered.

Some were automatically but it seems some weren't.

after I was rescue it seems that the game continued to run :)

very cool, nice work!

Developer

Thx for playing. You have to reactivate the traps after the cooldown. This feature isn't well communicated

Great art and fairly simple gameplay. I would slow it a before you get time to build traps you are already being hit by the soldiers.

Cool feature would be to also damage princess by spitting fire when she is down in the fire. I'd definitely like to see a way how to make the traps automatic. When being down there I feel too vulnerable and also once they reach her, they could logically just grab her and go home 😬

The art and style is so pleasant! I enjoyed playing, great and dynamic experience.

Though my princess was sadly saved :D I couldn't reach the end of the day, would love to have a timer or something to know how far I went :)
