Love this game should have more reviews! its a bit difficult but when you have enter a flow than its very adicting cool one!
What an interesting concept and take for the gamejam theme! Well done :D
Cool game, reminds me of doodle jump but with a wildly different form of controls. One main criticism I have is probably how unforgiving the platform placement feels as it feels like I constantly need to spam left click directly under the player, though needing to place platforms is a pretty neat open space for design that could lead to a lot of cool mechanics.
Thanks for the review! Totally agree that in the state it ended up the game is very unforgiving in a lot of ways and we didn't get to incorporate a lot of the ideas we wanted to by the end. I haven't heard of doodle jump but the main game we had in mind was Whirly Bird a simple game made by google.
Doodle jump is a pretty old game, I remember playing it on my crappy ipod when I was in elementary school lol. Seems like whirly bird is basically just a modern knockoff of doodle jump
