Music is good quality. The idea has potential, and things seem well made. A sensitivity slider for the camera could be a good idea as that way one could adjust it to their liking (if you feel like it should be like it is for difficulty then maybe points could be calculated differently). Anyways, you have landed upon a good idea, but that slider could do wonders for the game.

If I just heard the pitch for the game idea I’d think it wouldn’t be fun. Seeing what you did with it proofs me wrong. Super juicy. Personal preference: the camera’s movement could be a bit less “heavy” and more “agile”

Played on stream! See the video for timestamp.

A very cool concept! The game works well. A little too difficult at the beginning. Good job team!!!

Really fun game, and cool concept. I do wish the camera was snapper

Super fun game and a creative idea! My only wish would be some way to telegraph where the player would go, or have a less slidey camera because sometimes the player would turn  so fast it would be extremely difficult to react in time. But it's still exciting none the less, well done!

Loved the idea and the visuals of the game! Definitely, a very challenging game though, imo maybe a little snappier/faster camera or slower player would be helpful but overall Great job!!

Love the polish on this game! Controlling the camera was a fun but tricky challenge!

Fascinating game! Definitely very challenging (especially because I cannot mentally work with the camera rotation, which feels very important! lol), but also really fun to keep trying!

I really wished that there was a way for the IRL player to be able to know from context what the NPC "player" would do next, because just needing to memorize the static route felt a little bad imo; but considering the time constraints it works very well for what it is!

Really awesome visual effects! Was bit too hard though. Way to make this in 48 hours!

Funny one! So difficult lol, but pretty fun.

REALLY cool idea. Could be a neat game with more levels.

Fun game, I got a high score of 143. The trial and error aspect is well executed because the pace of the game is very quick and the camera movement is challenging without being too difficult to control. I think the art style is nice, and the death effect looks great (even though it means the run is over, lol). I really enjoyed playing this, nice work!

Easy to take our cameras for granted, they had been doing such a tough job behind the scenes xd This might just be the challenge of being a good camera, but I think having a snappy camera would make the controls better. Very good submission for the jam

Really nice entry! Fits the theme perfectly and was fun to play. It perfectly captures the feeling of being a backseat gamer while your mic is muted. You're watching a guy taking the weirdest routes and are helpless to stop it :D I think it was a fun mix of memorization and real-time execution and also presented well.

Praise to all the CameraController.cs out there. Damn, this isn't an easy job 🤣

The game is really polished! The death animation in particular was really something special. When I see it, I'm mad that I die but at the same time, it's like "damn, it looks nice" xDDDD

Great work!

It looks very nice visually and is definitely not lacking in juice. My only real gripe was how the ai character wouldn't take the obvious routes, and so to make progress you had to repeatedly die to their odd decisions, memorize the pattern, and try again. While by itself that's not an issue, having the replay the beginning bit over and over again every time you make a teeny bit of progress got tedious.

I've seen a couple of games so far where you play as the cameraman and I think this one's my favorite, good work!

This is a fantastic idea and I cant help laughing while playing haha! Really great presentation and I can see the litle square being really annoying lol. I would suggest to have a smooth steps of dificulty increasing by adjust the speed and AI of the character. Overall really like this one and there is a great potential!

it's a very original idea! I really like all the effects and the post-processing you've done :)

it's very challenging! hahaha

very nice submission! congratulations

The game looks and sounds beautiful, but I found it too difficult in a way that I don't like. I feel like I needed to either learn by heart what the character was doing or lose.

I wish there was some more randomness during testing so that you'd be able to add some anticipation and see what it looks like for first-time players.

I love the concept, though. I wrote about it in a review for another game that got a similar idea: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2023/rate/2156629
