Very neat, just needs bit more clarity in how everything works and would not mind playing even longer. Sometimes felt too easy and random for rabbit to spawn next to your starting castle for easy win

The theme is funny - always loved those monk illustrations. And the puzzle mechanic is cool too!

Cool game. I like the medieval style.

Nice game, very good style

nice game! the mechanics could be a little clearer but i understood it in the end.

A really nice game and idea, like other i couldn't understand fully the gameplay at first, but i later on found it a really interesting and nice game!

The medieval style characters were pretty accurate lol, and it was a pretty nice game that reminded me of some board games

Also little bug (Or maybe it's just me not understanding the rules)

If i have 2 building sharing the same tile, sometimes the tile doesn't activate:

Still pretty nice! good job!

Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

On the screenshot there is no bug, though I agree that is not transparent. Upper left tower (encircled) is grade 2 and already has 2 neighbours, so it blocks any nearby building. If you upgrade it 1 more time, it will become grade 3 and unlocks taking 1 more nearby tile.

I was planning to add more tutorial levels, but as it happens on jams, we were running out of time :/

oooooh ok missed that feature, got it, thank you for explaining!

This is a nice tactical puzzle. As others have said, I didn't fully understand what was happening at first, but once I began to get it, I could see how clever the ideas are. More levels at the larger scale would be great, as I think it takes all of the levels here to fully grasp the core concepts.

Thank you! I agree that the game would probably benefit from better tutorial and more levels.

Very interesting idea and a beautiful style! Glad to have saved or beloved carrots from the horrid abomination.

Developer

Thank you, brave defender of carrots! The kingdom owes its safety to your valor and strategy. May your towers stand tall, and your harvests be ever bountiful!

I had some trouble figuring it out, it's harder than it looks!
The illustrations are amazing, would have been fun the entire game made like that!

Developer

Thank you! Really enjoyed yours as well!

Love the artstyle! Couldn't click on the rabbit's tile sometimes, even though I had a tower right next to it, but a nice little puzzle game overall.

Developer

> Couldn't click on the rabbit's tile sometimes
Two things are possible:
- (if bottom hex is red) you were trying to capture a tile that does not currently allows capture (to make it possible, make sure that nearby buildings are upgraded to allow more buildings nearby - the higher the grade, the more nearby tiles you can take)
- (if bottom hex is white) try click on bottom hex. you can see if highlighed light green on hover. if hover is not registering, you can rotate camera using Q/E

Thank you for the feedback!

Ah I think I needed to rotate the camera then, thanks!

The medieval artstyle is amazing. A little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it it's really fun.

Had a bit of trouble figuring out where I could and couldn't build (and why) at first but once I got the hang of it it was very fun.
Love the marginalia artwork!

It is a nice game, I had some trouble with understanding it at first because I don't usually play puzzle games but this one was fun.
