I didn't finish delivering the pizzas (I'm not good with scary things and it's 2am but I saw hamsters so I had to try) but I did deliver a few! Very creative!
Oof, scary! So glad you tried a bit regardless of your circumstances! And thank you!
Hi!
Wow, that was the best game I've played yet!!
I liked the hamsters! :) They were funny!
Great 3D models of the house! The house that was built to scale was funny! :)
Great job!! :))
Amazing! Thank you so much!! David did a great job with the houses yea! We also had a ton of fun making the hamsters!
I’m sadly unable to watch the YouTube video attached since the video is set to private :p
Great!
Oops -- got it. You should watch it now, since I made it so you can watch it!! :)
Tell me how I did. :))
Nice video! Glad to see the Hamsters being treated respectfully! You did very well!! 👏
Also your reaction to the built to scale house was amazing! 😂
And thank you for the lil’ comment at the end! :)
Your welcome!
The hamsters were funny. :)

I saw the title "Hamster Pizza Delivery" with a subtitle warning of psychological horror content, and was immediately hooked. And I actually liked it!
The fun hamster atmosphere provides a really neat contrast to the spooky bridge/maze around the homes, giving good breaks between the suspense. The models were quite good, and the hamster sprites were funny. I really liked how your light detector got slowly glitchier and glitchier--I was terrified that it would run out on the boss battle at the end! (I really liked the boss battle, too!)
The one improvement I would recommend would be to improve the theme relation. The game had little to do with the theme, other than the fact that you--and everyone else--was a hamster. I suppose the bridges could also have used a little more variety (walking in a straight line got tiring after a bit), but it was good for a game jam.
Overall, this was a pretty good submission!
Thank you for the in-depth comment! Happy to hear you liked so much about the game!
The way we used the theme in our project mainly revolved around the fact you’re a small hamster trying to deliver pizza with huge cosmic threats trying to stop you.
When we got the theme, we wrote down what was unique about things that are big or small, our conclusion was mainly that big things are powerful, intimidating, and in some cases, scary. While small things are cute and fun! This resulted in the idea of a game where you go back and fourth between big and small, making their contrast and impact more immense; since you’re rarely in the hamster houses, they become more fun and comfy, and since you get regular doses of fun and comfy, the scary stuff hits extra hard! :D
We also did want to add more optional gameplay stuff to the walking sections, but things got complicated, time was running out and we had to finish the boss fight.
But yeah, thank you very much for playing, and thank you for your kind words and feedback! :)
I wasn’t sure what I was going to find in this game and was definitely surprised, for good. Everything is so weird and I love it for it! One of the most creative games I played today. The contrast between the different scenes was unexpected and really fun. Good job with this one!
Thank you! So glad that you liked it! It sure was fun to make :)
I don't know how this game fits in the game jam theme but you rock!
It was so fun to play.
The intention with the theme was something along the lines of ‘you’re a tiny hamster delivering in an unthathomably big location’
Glad you had fun, you rock as well!
You certainly nailed some kind of very intriguing mood here. Just wished there was tiny bit more gameplay/payoff for all the walking around, but I did feel interested all the way to the end either way.
Makes me really happy! Yeah, there isn’t much exciting gameplay compared to the other stuff we focused on and I don’t blame people for pointing it out, it makes great sense! Even my own mother mentioned it! xD
