Very fun and challenging game!
Thank you!
Damn dude this is some level of polish i did not expect in a game jam. Congrats! Also the gameplay is realy satisfying, when you realize you solved it and only need to make the move. Also the levels have a good progression in difficulty. Nice work!
Thank you so much!
This game is way too polished for a game jam entry, good job!
Maybe it's just me, but I often was unsure if the level is solvable in the state it currently is. It's hard to understand if you made progress or if you're softlocked. Maybe it would be possible to add an indicator when the level becomes unsolvable? It might be hard to program/implement though.
Also: This was a one person team basically!? WHAT!? How did you make the game THIS polished? Did you even sleep at all during the 4 days?
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I will consider adding something to tell whether or not you are softlocked, although I think you are right in that it would take a decent amount of programming.
As for your last note, this was basically a one person team, but I did have a friend make four levels. And I did sleep at least for the first three days with progressively later sleep times (stayed up on the fourth)!
I would appreciate a rating if you haven't already in case you forgot :)
Thanks for replying! Hope your sleep schedule has recovered from that. xD
I of course already rated, and thanks a lot for rating my game as well!
Excellent game and presentation. I was able to spam a little bit and get the characters outside of the map, but it honestly didn't even seem to break the game too much as I could get right back in. Great job in such a short time.
Thank you!
this game boutta be #1
Thank you!
This is the most polished take on this concept I have seen. Well done. I particularly love the screen shake that scales with distance. Nice touch.
Thank you!
This game is awesome! Great graphics, challenging puzzles, creative concept! Well done, one of my favorites from the jam!
Thank you!
Great game! The visuals are amazing. Although, they get a bit too intense for me, hurts my eyes staring at it for too long. If I could turn the effects off I would keep playing. I really like the puzzle itself.
It would be nice with a bit more feedback to which color is being selected when you change and have more than 2. Like a quick scale tween or something.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! After the jam, I plan to expand the options menu to add settings for the effects. Currently, the selected color spins, but I might also add a particle system when you switch.
By the way, if you can handle the visuals for now, levels 2 and 3 (which you can choose in level select) have 3 colors, as well as some more advanced later levels.
Amazing and the puzzles are very challenging!
Thank you!
This feels very polished. The gameplay is well explained, and introduced step by step. I could see this becoming a full game.
Thank you very much!
Nice bright colored graphics and adequate gameplay, congratulations!
Thank you!
Wow! These are super cool puzzle designs with a great choice of music and visuals! please extend this into a full game. I'm looking forward to playing more!
Thank you!
Neat little puzzle game. The visuals are great too. Really good submission!
Thank you!
Such a fun game! I loved the neon visuals and the juices are spot on. I especially liked the warp effect whose strength depends on the amount you traverse with the characters.
Level designs and the variety they provide to the simple mechanics are impressive too. Diffuculty is also handled well for me because i like more harder puzzle games, i also like puzzle games where you can solve it by thinking backwards which you can do it well in this game.
Some little issues i can give feedback on is on larger levels like the third, the glow for tiles felt too much and the warp effect became kind of annoying because the amount you traverse in one move is larger than other levels. Also there was some little bugs where i could push one character out of the level with another.
Overall a really enjoyable game with clever designs and cool visuals, great job!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I think after the jam, I can expand the options menu for disabling and enabling the chromatic aberration if it gets too annoying. As for pushing out of the level, I'm aware of those; I just didn't have the time to fix them since other things were more important (they were edge cases anyway). I probably will update the game after the jam to fix these issues.
This was a lot of fun, I adore the esthetic! Such a good vibe!
Thank you!
Wow the neon art style of this game is just so amazing to look at. The music/sfx are amazing to listen to as well. A unique idea for a puzzle game that made me feel pretty smart trying to figure out. Overall you did really amazing work on this! Excited to see where it goes from here!
Thank you so much!
What an awesome game. Well thought-out, and very well-executed. Loved the presentation and the interpretation of the theme. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Thank you!
The juicing of this game is really cool ! It is very polished, I am in awe
Thank you!
simple but great, I always love it when visuals are in sync with audio!
Thank you!
This game is really well made, I enjoyed it a lot! The visuals are beautiful, and the music supports the game extremely well. The puzzles were fun to solve as well, and I really enjoyed the game design! I can see this being a full game with an achievement system that people can try and do based on the number of moves it takes to solve the puzzle. Amazing game, and definitely underrated!
Thank you so much! I most likely will expand this game after the jam.
