Really enjoyed this one!

Hey, enjoyed your game, funny to see someone else with a similar take on the prompt, haha.  This is a neat implementation of this mechanic!

Cool game, and  well thought of given the theme, I felt it really strong :)

Unique building idea and nice with very few limitations on how to built your crazy tank :)

Some hint of advancement or levels, enemies objectives bosses or so would have been great.

Also I don't like using the middle mouse button, space to set the weapon would have been better for me, but that is just a matter of taste I guess.

Fun

i enjoyed this

The core mechanic is so satifying, they weren't joking when saying let it rain bullets haha. Too bad it didn't have any sound or more types of components. I enjoyed the conversations though maybe move it away from the screen next time.

our games are based on the concept lol
but mine is with spaceships, so it's totally different experience

pretty fun and clever, I like how precise you can be with the construction phase (mine is a little more chaotic on that)

just curious about it: does the drill do melee damage? I spend all the game putting them on my tank, but still only shot by distance

Developer(+1)

Nice~ I will try out your game whenever I have more time~
And yea, the drill do constant melee damage, with high HP to serve as decent shield block

I had fun adding new weapons, but I wish the game offered more of a challenge.

Developer(+1)

Glad you had phun ha ha (bad joke please no report me)

Yeah I regretted not spending enough time to expanding enemies and more components, but ah well we all did our best didn't we~

I liked it but i forgot how to add on the weapons

Hey there, thanks for the laugh at your stray commentary during the game. I found it very enjoyable. Also the Lego-esque Mechanic was a lot of fun. I would have loved to see how the scrap mechanic changes the playstyle, maybe you will get around to it sometime. If I would give one suggestion it would be to better visually distinguish the tank parts from the tank, I completely destroyed perfectly fine parts thinking they were an enemy a few times.

Thanks a lot for the game!

words can not express how happy I am to see someone who liked my random commentary TvT

much thanks for your kind words~

The idea of building your tank up is cool at first, but the ammount of content is rather low.

Also without any music or sounds I can't have full immersion into the game

But anyways it's an interesting concept, that has potential, so good luck in your next jams!

That was epic, and also rly amazing how the characters react if you return after one playthrough! 5/5/5! Spotlight worthy!

Really fun mechanic, great take on the theme. A faster tutorial, less dialogue and more enemies/building would be nice. Could make it a wave based game where you have to defeat more and more powerful enemies to get better and better guns. Also could be cool if there was a way to edit the tank once you start collecting more and more guns. Great work, had a lot of fun with this one!

Cool, but some very strange controls

An interesting premise but WebGL does not play nice with the middle mouse button. I was unable to get the mechanics to work because it would not lock on. Using the E key or a different bind would make it easier for browser builds.

Really cool mechanics! I could definitely see this being expanded, the action is great. I think a tutorial with less text would be more engaging, it took a while to figure out how to attach components. This could also be fixed with some sound effects and music! Along with the mayhem of bullets, some sounds to go along would really enhance the experience. Great job on the submission overall, I had fun playing!

For some reason i cannot use the middle mouse button.

Developer

You are only able to place the Tank Components on top of your own tank components (green color), without overlapping its core (red color). But yeah, lacking a visual indicator is a mistake on my part I will admit

Submitted(+1)

Can't rate because the game doesn't allow me to use the middle mouse button, unfortunately. The browser's scroll icon appears when pressing the middle mouse button.

Nice work! I love the idea of this. I could see this expanding a lot into a full fledged game. I do wish the tank parts didn't break so easily, but otherwise I had fun with it!

Great concept for a shooter. I love creating broken builds.

Hahaha, this game kicks ass! It ended up crashing for me, but I had a fun time playing and lots of fun enemies. Would love to see a more fleshed out game. I would play the shit out of this!
