Playing on gamepad, it was really cool!

Liked most of the levels, though some could be cheesed by multi-dashing in the air (dunno if that's an intended mechanic).

Ending was pretty darn cool too!

Great platformer! That robot model is super nice.. The gameplay feels nice and responsive and the levels are challenging and clever. Good Job!

Groovy music, nice style and fun game play! But I think what I liked the best was the way you put all the instructions so well integrated into the game play.💚

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! Glad to you hear you have fun playing ^^

It's a great platformer . I just have one complaint. Please make me run faster. The jump feels good but Im just soooo slooow and when I'm not dashing the game stops to a crawl. I should at leas be able to jump over a sawblade with a single jump. It just feels so unnatural. Please adjust the speed of the character in an update because aside from that the game is really good.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! we'll probably make a rework in the character movement in general

Liked the robot animations! only thing worth noticng is that the controls were a bit uncormtable to use. Good one!

Developer

Yeah we receive some comments about the controls, we'll add a remapping feature in future updates. Thank you for the feedback and thanks for play!

Oh, someone who also made a canister-carrying-robot! :-)

Awesome work on the model, animation and shading!

I enjoyed the mechanics and controls a lot, very well done.

Developer

Thank you! glad to hear you like it

Great game, I loved the work on the parallax background.

Developer

Thank you! I really put an effort in the backgorund

A very good and themed platformer! The music and gameplay are catching and quickly stay wondering: "Just one more level..."

Great game, thanks!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for play the game! Glad to hear you like it

I like the mix of 2D and 3D graphics. The dash and interact keys were pretty hard to reach while playing with A and D movement and the movement felt a bit stiff compared to jumping in my opinion. Pretty sad ending, but loved the game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We'll probably implement a remapping option, so the players can use a more custom controls

I especially love the robot’s animations. Are those pre-rendered frames from a 3D model?

(+1)

yes , actually it is, we used blender for the character and traps, the background enviroment was fully 2d.

How did you make the lighting to look so “simple”? I mean its a bit like a cartoon which makes it fit in the 2d game, its great.

I did a cartoon shader in blender , exported already with the shadows.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks! Yeah, crizoth made the animations on blender and exported as a sequence of images, then I used a software called FreeTexturePacker to generate a sprite sheet

Cool platformer, and i like the robot's design with the old rusty look and bright green battery on the back ^^

The jump arc is a bit odd to get used to as you seem to loose a lot of momentum right away, but i think i see why you made it that way, as it does convey the heavyness of the character being a bulky robot.

Other than that i don't have any other issues, i liked the fact that you gradually introduced mechanics such as the dash and switch operated platforms.

Good job to you guys :)

thanks for feedback, the jump arc was specially something that  we afraid of, we aim to improve it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks PixelMetalWolf! We saw another players with difficulty on the jump, we'll probably make a rework on that

No problem and like i said i think i see the intent with the heavy robot character so it's ok :)

Pretty awesome game! Love the design of the robot. Really cool model and animations. Also the sound design is so satisfying.

I had two small issues: (1) the animation bugged out twice after I hit the corner of the platform. And (2) the Z key is in a inconvenient position on the German keyboard layout. A remapping function would help a lot :D

Anyway, great work!

(1 edit)

thank you, the "Z" key was designed with the arrow keys, we realy need to add remapping function, but the time ruins out !! we aim to keep working on, thnks for the feedback!

Developer

Yeah we definitely need to add a remapping! Thanks for the feedback, we'll take a look on the animation bug and keeping improve the game
