Good concept, but the pieces move so slow and collide with other ones making it harder to place them.

Unfortunately I only have a touchpad right now and it's a bit hard to play without a mouse but I managed to get some pieces in the correct place and I can see it being quite satisfying. The concept is interesting ad it's unlike anything I've seen so far. Btw I think I ran into a bug at some point, when I release a piece that's rotated at 45° it throws it out of the grid in a certain spot, after 2-3 pieces pile up in that spot they start to flicker (possibily interacting with each other)

Yep the bug mentioned is a bit of a bane of my existence, I fixed a lot today ... but not that particular issue. Easy fix is to have it rotate 90 degrees instead of 45 but i felt this takes away from the Rotatron aspect :(.

For learnings sake the main issue is the collision box.... learning for puzzle games make them about 50% smaller. I think this would fix  it a for the most part, I also made it so pieces held don't interrupt place pieces as I found this problematic too.

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and give feedback :)

nice work

The concept is quite good. I find it hard to move the pieces, maybe it’s just because the piece does’t move at the same speed as the mouse.

Thanks for giving it a go, I have made a few improvements since submission and learned lots through the process. I actually made a level editor which worked similarly but had less cumbersome controls so I could set the three sample levels. Then I had to manually set in game (I am still a little bit of a noob), one day I will be able to get the code to do it for me. Thanks again for playing and giving me feedback :)

I have been fixing quite a few bugs, I look forward to updating after the Jam. Please keep your feedback coming if you find specific areas of issue :)

I like the idea but I can't pick up any of the pieces...

I tested it out you need a mouse, but after you click through the instructions. when you click on a piece you should hear a pop. Then the piece will follow your mouse as it moves (a little slower) and start rotating. Right then drops the piece or if your cursor is over the play grid will fill the place. Please let me know if it still doesn't work for you as I would like to fix it if it is broken, thanks for taking the time to check my game out :)
