Really fun, little game! As opposed to a lot of games I played in this jam, I actually found it a little easy... Ended up with a larger collection of friends by the time the game ended. Maybe the waste could increase as the timer runs out?

Wow, this was a weird but fun sort of mini game. I had a bit of trouble understanding the game at first so a little tutorial would be awesome!

I found the chimera very weird and it too a while to understand the concept.... and making bricks was also fun :-) .. Nice game.

Really liked my chimera's evolution! Nice idea and presentation.

it's like a whole zoo but in an animal. Wonderful idea, and pretty good presentation, also 100% on the theme, I enjoyed it pretty much. I didn't know what food did what tho, I noticed that black things made me square once, and leaves made me bigger, but nothing more. I was going to get a prt-scr, of my wonderful chimera with a duck body, 2 crocodile heads, 2 penguin heads, some wolves and more, but it exploded >:(

Thank you for playing.

Yes, I have to do a mini tuto. When a head takes to much damage it is bricked and cannot produce new heads (but its already-born children are still able to do it).

Nice game. I like that there's a reward for doing well in the form of an increasingly ridiculous chimera. Only have a minor note that the damage sound was significantly louder than any other sound, probably could have been turned down a little bit.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

I will check sound with headphones back home. The only sound that's supposed to be slightly louder now is the rarer event 'new head' one, I might have inverted some lines in the final rush.

Cute game! I loved seeing my Chimera grow. It was hard to tell what was food and what wasn't until I noticed the color pattern. I also think it might be fun to get a score at the end of the game or a display showing me what animals I collected! Good job :)

Thank you for playing.

Yes, i did not have time to implement the score feature, annoying for a shooter... maybe after the jam. But first I still have to understand better how group works in godot to gather the info from the multiple heads (or the destroyed leaves).

Me: This game is so cute and wholesome.

*My chimera of cute critters explodes into oblivion.

Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Love the name of the game too xD

Developer

Thanks for playing!

If you grow fast enough you can save your Chimera. But there are better games to test and spend time with in this jam. ;)

Looks similar to our game I think. At least in mechanics. We'll be adding upgrades in the next week and I believe this game too would highly benefit from having upgrades. Loved the idea.

Developer

I need upgrades... or a rebuild from ground xD

Thank you for playing the game.

Loved the explosion animation at the end.

The game is fun. My only complaint on this game is the menu. I was like 2 minutes clicking the button Start until I realized I coud move the character. Maybe indicating that you can move somehow...

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!

Sorry for the start menu, I did it during the last 30 min. I will add something to make it clearer.

It's like Asteroids... But instead of blowing them up you're eating them. Would have benefited from a quick screen that showed what to eat and avoid visually. Had fun though. At one point I thought some of the enemies/bad items were preventing me from moving to the left. Could be fun to implement power ups with both positive and negative effects. Great job.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing.

Good idea, I could effectively had bad and good items to interact with in the start screen as a mini tuto.

Nothing should prevent you from moving, except poorly programmed collisions xD
