Use of the limitation
In our game you have to use your health to move the player. But once you set a velocity you can't take it back and the more you move the more health you lose. So you have to consider your steps. How this is done will get clear while playing the game.

the game is very hard, but fun to play. The limitation was VERY creative.

This is a very creative use of the theme.   It lends itself to a very puzzle like game play

The only thing I think it needs is a quick restart button for when you get stuck.  Other than that great game :)

Now, THERE's an interesting use of the limitation. The chaos when you get overzealous with holes is awesome. The whole thing was really aesthetic and charming, I especially loved the UI.

How did you like Matter.js?

Submitted(+1)

interesting concept, i really like the graphics, but my screen kept going black and couldnt really do anything after that though?

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take care of the performance. The assets are quite large and might not load properly with a poor internet connection. What device and browser are you using?

Thanks for your feedback nevertheless!

Chilling and stylish game with a very good use of the limitation. I only got desperate when I was running out of oxygen, probably because I was also bad at it too.

This was really fun. On my first go I got stuck and ended up bouncing out of the map to the winning pount... 10/10 XD

The difficulty made it fun though I think the health robot should of restored some oxygen. Tho I could of just been bad at the game.

Ahhh, my fellow connoisseurs of the oxygen-propulsion genre. I really like the idea and the level design, the gameplay is very unique and interesting. The visuals and audio are fantastic too.

I beat it with 36 holes punched, although I did completely glitch through the terrain :D Looks like bumping into a wall can increase your speed, so if you're right in-between two walls, you get launched to space. Was funny though. Beat it properly afterwards with 30 holes.

Criticisms:

  • Panning back to spawn after dying is about 20x too slow.
  • The bump sound is too loud.
  • Limiting the view was a conscious decision right? I'd think it'd be more interesting if it was possible to plan ahead without learning the level.
  • Movement speed varied a lot when there was no reason to. Maybe something wrong with time scaling?

Wow. This is really good feedbacks!! Thank you.
Didn't think that many people would try to bruteforce and find this glitch :D We should have fixed that.
Probably you have better subwoofers than we have ^^ I couldn't here the bump sound.
This feedback is great. We will implement that.

Now thats how you use the limitation! Great concept my man! Once i got close to the top after many failed attempts I brute forced my way to the top with a whopping 24 Holes Punched!

Nice :) Thanks a lot. I am glad you like our use of the limitation.

Hi. Amazing game.

The first few minutes I was going down and I did not know I had to go up. Maybe add some floor to the bottom to prevent falling into the abyss. The gameplay is challenging and the repair bots are well positioned. The music was very fitting with the personality of the character.

With some upgrades and more places to explore, I think this can be a great game! I recorder my playthrough in a video.

Hey man :) Thanks for these comments. I am glad you liked to play the game.
We were also thinking to add more stuff. Our argument for leaving out all the things we had no time for was: It´s a game jam. There have to be flaws :D

The concept was amazing, it just took me a while to get used to the controls.
But in the end I managed to reach the top. I liked the bouncing around on rocks, but one time I got so fast that I glitched completely through everything. Maybe cap the max speed ;)

Thanks for the comment and the good feedback. The controls are kind of tricky yes :) We tried to make this the selling point :D
