Very very nice presentation!
The art is fantastic, and the intro and different outros look really great!
Sadly the game is not really interesting in this state. The patterns are really easy, always the same, and not on beat. I guess this is only because you didn't have time, and I'd love to see a future version of this with interesting patterns and difficulty!
The art is great, and the music felt exploratory. I was anticipating a tempo build up or some more complexity. Tidy game. Well done =)
Totally loved the art style. And the music was really nice.
Pretty chill rhythm game awesomely presented!
Definitely feels like there could be more to it; but then again, there’s only so much time in a mini-jam!
Great-looking game, but I'm disappointed by the gameplay; I was expecting the music to kick off at some point and raise the difficulty level, but it never happened.
I loved the visuals. Took me a sec to find the instructions for the controls - helps if I read down the page lol (TL;DR = press E button). Would have been cool to see some additional gameplay, vertical movement maybe? =)
We also thought about complicating the gameplay, but we just didn't have enough time xD
First off, that's a lot of cookies.
Second, cool small game. I think the missing of a beat sound effect was a bit jarring, especially considering there is no sound effect for successful hits.
Obviously, the gameplay was minimal but the art, music, and overall presentation made for an enjoyable experience.
I loved the atmosphere and visuals. great use of time!
Nice art, but the base game is a little boring. I read you added modding support to add your own songs which is cool but for a game jam game thats mostly gonna be played in browser its not something people will try out unfortunately.
I might be too dumb, but I didn't understand this one. Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission !
Loved the dithering art style. The mood is really great for this chill game, well done.
the visuals are amazing, the beat is very chill. Some more variation in the gameplay would be nice, since its only one button press :D But other than that, nice experience!
Btw is there a trick to how you created the art style?
Thank you so much for the comment, it's like a balm for the soul :)
In fact, everything is quite simple, I tried to use circles, mixed a little with a spray brush and seasoned everything with a gradient with dithering
And you can also modify the game and add your own music, there is a canvas of 16,000 pixels, and the picture does not repeat, the game ends automatically when the music ends :)
Great visuals and concept, and I also love the camera work! Unfortunately the gameplay was kinda off-sync with the music and a bit slow paced overall, but still well done!
Visual are sooo good! love the atmosphere) signal going through this dark outer space feels very moody and mysterious. Can't say that i felt any rhythm, and lack of positive feedback is noticeable. restart button would be useful and final text appearing a bit slow. Hope, it's not too harsh) Ah, and the music is also fitting pretty good!
I really love the graphics and presentation, but the actual gameplay is not the most engaging and it seems that most of the notes are off-sync or not actually in the rhythm of the song. Otherwise, though, awesome game!
